Making me who I am

You've brought joy to the tears I cry,
You've brought happiness into my life,
There's no more reasons to ask why,
You're every reason not to end with a strife.

You say you did nothing,
But you've done so much more,
Seeming like you've done everything,
Giving others endless reasons to adore.

I know that you don't see,
But you've made a man of me,
You're showing me more than anyone before,
And these are the reasons why I adore.

This poem was written for someone I know,
She tenderly rests like a flake in the snow,
I'm trying to keep my mood low,
For she cares more for my afterglow.
