When I taught middle school, we always read novels aloud. The students' favorites were always plays or pieces of writing where they could take a part. Whether you are in middle school or remember what it was like, I hope you enjoy this story told from different points of view.
Also, I am not naive enough to believe that middle schoolers don't curse or have inappropriate thoughts, even when they are just thinking. But, I tried to keep this G-rated so you can read it at school if you want to. Feel free to insert the cuss words of your choice (in your brain) when the boys are mad or Mia hates, hates, hates somebody or something.
