Nandini Sharma is only 24 and yet she has the responsibility of raising her 5 younger siblings...yes 5! From the age of 16 she started working along with her studies so she can fulfill her siblings every wish. Basically her life revolves around them...
Once Jiya got Garv, The Malhotras took Nandini & her siblings home with them.
"God, I hope woh Khadus ghar pe na ho." Nandini thought to herself as she entered Malhotra Mansion behind Nyonika. Nandini was looking around when she bumped into someone and was about to fall backwards. The person quickly wrapped his arms around her waist, catching her. Nandini, who had closed her eyes in fear now opened them and got lost in the chocolate brown eyes of Manik Malhotra.

Manik was also completely lost in her when her siblings and Manik's family ran up to them.
"Di! Aap thik toh ho na?" Garv asked.
"Nandini beta, chot toh nahi lagi?" Raj asked. Finally realizing how close they were, Nandini & Manik moved away from each other.
"Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?" Manik asked Nandini rudely.
"Nyonika ma'am leke aayi th." Nandini replied. Manik looked at his mom in disbelief.
"Seriously? Aap log mere shaadi karwane ke liye itne desparate hai ki isse seedha ghar le aaye?"
"What?" Nandini and her siblings all asked. Nyonika's eyes widened as she really didnt know what to say. "Ma'am yeh kya bol raha hai?"
"Aisa kuch nahi hai Nandini....I mean haan hum sab tumhe pasand karte hai aur shaadi ke baat karna chahte hai lekin....main tumhe yahan lee aayi madat karne ke liye." Nyonika explained.
"Forget it Mom...main isse kabhie shaadi nahi kaunga. Not even if she was the last person on earth!" Manik said.
"Haan haan, aur meri toh dream hai na tumhare jaise badtameez, akru...khudus insaan se shaadi karne ka!" Nandini replied sarcastically. "Main bhi tumse kabhi shaadi nahi karungi!"
"Good!" Manik said.
"Good!" Nandini & Manik then stormed off in opposite directions.
Note: Im gonna fast forward through everything up until their wedding cause the whole point of this story is how they fall in love AFTER getting married.
"Well...that did not go well at all." Sameer commented. Nyonika just smirked and gave her husband a look. Raj nodded and went after Manik. Of course Nyonika's orignal plan was to slowly bring up the topic of marriage but now thats not possible so she has a backup plan.
"Wait." Garv spoke up, stopping Nyonika before she can go after Nandini. "Aap sach mein chahti hai meri Di aapke bete ke saath shaadi kare? I get ki aap meri Di ko pasand karti hai lekin meri Di ka kya? Chachi already Di ka jeena mushkil karti hai aur upar se aap chahti hai meri Di aise insaan ke saath shaadi kare jo unko pasand bhi nahi hai?"
"Kya karti hai tumhari Chachi?" Nyonika asked. Garv realized what he had let slip out and just kept quiet. So instead Aarav spoke up and told the family everything that their Chachi does to Nandini and them and also about Nandini's condition to get married.
Everyone felt really bad hearing what Nandini had to go through and Nyonika was now even more sure about her decision. "Phir toh yeh shaadi sab ke liye acha hai. Manik ke liye yeh sahi hai kyunki sirf Nandini hi hai jo usse takkar de sakti hai, jo usse sahi raaste pe le aa sakti hai....aur Nandini ke liye yeh sahi hai kyunki iss ghar mein usse aur tum sab ko woh milega jo aaj tak nahi mila, ek family jo bohot pyar karega tum sab se."
"Matlab...aapko Di ki conditon se.." Ishaan asked.
"Koi problem nahi hai." Nyonika confirmed. "In fact, Nandini agar chahti toh woh kab ki shaadi karke tumhari chachi se door jaa sakti thi lekin ussne nahi kiya, sirf tumhare liye...aisi ladkiyan asani se nahi milti hai jo apni family se itna pyar karti ho."

Raj entered Manik's room and saw him punching the punching bag that was hanging at one side.
"Chal beta Raj...shuru kar drama." Raj smirked to himself and then put on a serious expression. "Manik."
"Dont Dad...just dont. Mujhe paata nahi aap sab mere shaadi kawane pe kyun tule hai...I met that girl just twice and already itna irritate karke rakha hai usne, you guys expect me to live my entire life with her? Aur vaise....kaunse rule book mein likha hai ki shaadi karna zaroori hai? Like main shaadi nahi karunga toh police wale kya arrest kar lenge mujhe?"
Raj sighed and looked at Manik. "Beta...actually humne tujhse ek baat chupaya hai."
Manik stopped punching and looked at his dad suspiciously. "Kya?"
"Tu...tu yahan baith." Raj sat on Manik's bed and motioned to him. Manik went over and sat beside Raj.
"Dad...kya hua?"
"Manik....yeh baat na ghar mein kisiko pata nahi hai. Sirf teri Ma aur mujhe paata hai..."
"Kaunsi baat Dad?" Manik started to get worried.
"Tujhe paata hai hum tere shaadi ke piche kyun pare hai?" Raj asked.
"Haan....mujhe sudharne ke liye. Not that it will make any difference par yahi vajah hai na?"
"Haan, woh bhi ek vajah hai....but asli vajah kuch aur hai."
"Kya?
"Sorry beta, jo jhoot main bolne wala hoon mujhe paata hai tujhe dhukh hoga par.....yeh sab teri Ma ki planning hai. Aur sahi bhi hai, sab ko paata hai tu duniya mein sabse zyada apni Mom se pyar karta hai, toh this is the only way to get you to do what we want." Raj thought.
"Dad....boliye na. Kya hua?"
"Teri Ma chahti hai ke teri ek achi se ladki ke saath jald se jald shaadi ho jaye...kyunki apne ek laute bete ki shaadi dekhna chahti hai, marne se pehle." Raj said, taking every word from the script that Nyonika had him memorize.
"Brain Tumor." Raj lied, feeling really bad but of course he had to say what his wife had told him to. Manik looked shocked and was just sitting there.
"B..Br..brain...t.t.tumor? Yeh...yeh sab kab...kaise? Dad, you're joking right?" Manik asked. Raj shook his head solemly.
"Nahi beta.....Nyonika ke pass, zyada waqt nahi hai." Raj pretended to be devasted while Manik had tears in his eyes. "Isi liye bol rahe hai Manik....apni Ma ke khatir, shaadi kar le Nandini se."

Note: I dont believe in lying to your kids to make them do what you want but this is just a story and I needed a way to make Manik agree to marry Nandini. Anyways, Manik might agree for Nyonika but what about Nandini? Let me know in the comments what you think?
