"Ma....mujhe aapse baat karni hai." Nandini entered Nyonika's room.
"Haan bol....kya hua?"
"I think...yeh bimari wala natak kuch zyada lamba chal raha hai. Humme Manik ko sab sach bata dena chahiye. Isse pehle ki usse khud paata chale."
"Hmm...main bhi yahi soch rahi thi. Par...."
"Par kya Ma?" Nandini asked.
"Jab maine jhoot bola tha tab nahi socha par...ab Manik ke gusse ke baare mein soch ke dar lag raha hai. Kahi mere jhoot ke vajah se tum dono mein problem na aa jaye."
"Aisa mat sochiye Ma. Humara rishta itna sab kuch se guzra hai...itni mushkil se cheezein thik ho raha hai...main itni asani se kuch kharab nahi hone dungi." Nandini said. "Main abhi jaake Manik ko sab sach baata dungi."
"Haan...chalo. Main bhi chalti hoon...akhir jhoot toh maine bola na..." Nyonika stood up and the two of them went to Nandini & Manik's room where Manik sat on the bed.
"Manik....woh...humme kuch kehna hai." Nandini said.
"Hmm...bolo." Manik replied.
"Uh...woh...actually humne...matlab Ma aur maine....tum pls gussa mat hona par...hum....M..Ma?" Nandini looked to Nyonika.
"Haan...woh..darasal...kya hai na....maine jo bhi kiya tere bhalai ke liye kiya...aur woh....actually maine....Nandini ki galati nahi hai par...." Nyonika looked everywhere but at Manik.
"You guys lied about the sickness...hai na?" Manik rolled his eyes. Nyonika & Nandini stared at Manik with their eyes wide open.
"Manik tumhe paata tha?" Nandini asked.
"Not really....par kuch kuch shaq toh ho gaya tha. Especially since I havent seen Mom go to the doctor or the doctor come here even once. Bakki sab toh jaise bhool hi gaye ki you are supposed to be sick...and you LOOK perfectly fine to me. Par mera shaq yakeen mein tab badla jab maine Nandini ko aapse baat karte hue sunn liya." Manik replied.
"Tune sunn liya?"
"Haan....sab kuch sunn liya maine and I quickly ran back here to see if you guys would actually tell me the truth or not."
"Tum...tum gussa ho kya?" Nandini asked softly.
"Well Im not happy that you guys lied to me...I mean seriously Mom? Itni badi jhoot?"
Nyonika & Nandini looked down.
"But....I get why. Mujhe paata hai you only did it for me....and Im glad ki aap dono khud sach baatane ke liye aaye." Manik added. "Also....marrying Nandini wasnt the WORST idea in the world."
Nandini smiled at his joke. "Excuse me? Mujhse shaadi karna was the BEST idea...mujhse nahi toh kya uss pagal Tanya se karte?"
Manik laughed. "No way..."
Nyonika was happy seeing her kids laugh and placed her hands on their cheeks. "Humesha aise hi khush raho tum dono...mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye."
Then she brought them both into a warm hug. "Im sorry bacha...mujhe paata hai tujhse jhoot nahi bolna chahiye tha. Chahe jo bhi vajah ho...jhoot bolna galat hota hai."
"Its ok Mom...I forgive you." Manik kissed Nyonika's forehead.
"I love you both!" Nyonika told Manik & Nandini who exchanged glances.
"We Love you too!" They both said.

"Nandini...." Manik called out as Nandini lay in bed beside him.
"MMm..." Nandini replied, trying to fall asleep.
"Do you wanna go on a date?"
"Hein?" Nandini sat up and blinked at Manik.
"Do you..." Manik started to repeat.
"No...I heard you Manik."
"Phir?"
"You are supposed to be The Manik Malhotra...ladies man...casanova....par yeh kaisa tareeka hua date pe puchne ka?" Nandini asked. "I mean...hum literally sone jaa rahe hai aur tum aise puch rahe ho? Abhi?"
"Um...well I..."
"Jao nahi jaati date pe..." Nandini refused. "Pehle make it romantic....make me feel special uske baad.....Ill THINK about it."
"Think about it?" Manik raised one eye brow. He smirked and rolled over until he was over Nandini, with her trapped between his arms. "Biwi ho tum meri...apne pati ke saath date pe jaane ke liye tumhe sochna parega?"
"Oho...patidev bada haq jaata raha hai." Nandini joked, hanging her arms over Manik's neck. "But Im so so sorry.....main aisehi kisi ke saath bhi date pe nahi jaa sakti na. Impress me....then Ill see, mere paas time hai ki nahi."
Saying that, Nandini rolled Manik over to his side of the bed and closed her eyes to sleep. Manik sighed and propped himself up on one arm, leaning over close to Nandini's ear and whispered. "Fine...aisa impress karunga na...tum mujeh manna kar hi nahi paugi."
"Mhmm...we'll see." Nandini smiled, her eyes still closed.

Note: As its a long weekend, I was kinda busy with my family today so this chapter is a bit short.
I still wanted to update something tho....and as per everyone's request, Manik didnt get mad at Nandini and I quickly finished this lie to not create any misunderstanding.
Now they will concentrate on getting closer to each other.
