"How many more times do I have to tell you? I don't know who it was, or what he wanted"

Caitlin sat at home, cuddled up to her mum, answering the police's questions

"But it makes no sense Caitlin. You were kidnapped, their was no ransom, and he let you go after a few days"

"Are you saying I'm making this all up?"

"No, but you can see why it looks suspicious"

Caitlin turned to her mum

"I'm not making this up mum. I swear. You believe me, don't you?"

"Of course I do. You wouldn't make something like this up"

"What about my boyfriend? He was kidnapped too. Ask him. He'll be able to back my story up"

"Yes, we'll definitely do that. We'll be back again if we need anything else"

The next few days, Thomas and Carla spent, urging Caitlin out, and taking her for little walks. Caitlin had been doing a little more each day, and now could manage quite a distance. She never went alone, after what had happened to her, she didn't trust anyone but her parents. Her mum and dad were happy with her progress, she was going further each day. She was also trying to open up a bit more. She still found it difficult to talk about what had happened, but she was trying, and when she could talk no longer more about her ordeal, instead of shutting down, she tried to talk about something else. She was trying to avoid Barry, after what had happened between them. Was there something there? She couldn't focus on anything else, she just wanted to get better and go home and try to reconnect with her boyfriend after everything that had happened. Hopefully they could help each other heal, because they had both been through it together. She couldn't focus on Barry, or what had happened between them, she had a boyfriend and even though she hadn't seen him, since it happened, or despite not knowing if they were still together, she would not be unfaithful

Caitlin went home and bumped into Barry

"Sorry, I was just going to my room"

"Look Caitlin, can you stop this?"

"Stop what? I'm not doing anything"

"You have barely said two words to me since it happened"

"Nothing happened Barry, and nothing ever will. I have a boyfriend back home and I'm not the sort of girl to be unfaithful"

"That's good to know. Your right, nothing happened. Now will you stop acting like we've committed some big crime"

"What have I done?"

"Let's see, you haven't spoken to me once, you go out of your way to avoid me, you leave a room as I enter it. Shall I go on?"

"Incase you have forgotten Barry, this isn't about you. I'm dealing with being kidnapped. I thought that you would understand how I feel and that I need space after everything, considering we're getting on better"

"I do understand"

"Really? So because I haven't spoken to you in a few days, you get upset and make it all about you. Yup, you really understand"

Caitlin turned to go, but Barry held her hand. Caitlin quickly flipped him over

"I dont like being touched"

Caitlin ran into her room and banged the door shut. Stupid Barry.

Everyone was downstairs, except Caitlin. Carla heard shouting and things breaking in Caitlins room. She ran upstairs

"Caitlin, honey, are you ok?"

"I'm fine mum. Please go away. I just need some time alone to do this. Some me time"

"What me time involves this much shouting and breaking things?"

"Please just go away. I'm trying to process everything"

Carla walked away, shocked. What was Caitlin doing? Was she having another breakdown? Carla hoped not. She had come so far, and was doing quite well. Carla knew that she would never get the old Caitlin back, but she was hoping that she'd get some sort of her daughter back. She liked how Caitlin was recovering and opening up a bit more, she just hoped nothing else would happen to push her back into the dark place she had struggled to get out off. Carla liked how in little flickers, she was getting a bit of the old Caitlin back. The girl she had been before everything. She would do anything to get her daughter back, but she had to except her daughter was gone, and this was a new version of Caitlin she had

"She says that she's fine. Just working through some stuff"

"Oh god, I hope she's ok, and not having another episode"

Barry went upstairs to check on Caitlin. Caitlin opened the door, aol sweaty

"What?"

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I was just letting that anger out, like you said"

"Good. So are you ready to come to my classes?"

"No. I don't think I'm ready for that yet. But would it be ok if you taught me some stuff at home?"

"Ok. Get ready. We start tomorrow"
