To punish you is worse
If I show you what I've written
Will I be shown as uncommitted?
Because I truly do love you so
Through everything we've been through, you know
I would never try to harm you
Or tell you that you're not loved
Because you mean way to much to me
It's definitely a sign from above
That you're the only one for me
Through heaven and through hell
I'll stay by your side
Like a faithful servant

If I told you it would always be you
Would you believe?

You wouldn't
Yet to hurt you is not the viable punishment for that thought
The real thing I need to do is be there
By your side
Even if you don't believe nor trust me
I shall remain
Because to hurt you is a curse
