Unspoken Words [Nancy x Ace]

Chapter 2

But rather replying to him back, she called him,
"Hey, Ace... Yeah I'm okay"
She added laying over the bed as Ace picked the call,
"I'm glad, it's just... You always pay the toll more than us, which makes me worry about you... Because you are reckless, all the time" Ace replied being honest,
"Yeah yeah like that time you drank the poison...water... Or whatever was in that container?" Nancy chuckled as she replied Ace sarcastically,
"I knew it was water... Like I believe you, Nancy..." Ace replied, "...and I'll do it all over again if I have to..." Ace had no idea what words were coming out of his mouth, but Nancy could feel that Ace is acting... Different...

"Well, thank you for having so much faith in me... And my biggest worry is that I don't fail you guys...every single time..." She exhaled as she talked to Ace,
"Yeah, you won't... I'm confident about it" Ace replied, "anyways... I'll let you rest now... See you tomorrow...Good night Nancy"
"Good night, Ace" Nancy smiled as she spoke, "and Thanks for always checking on me" as she cut the call

"What is with you, Ace? You are turning into one mystery" Nancy thought as she kept the phone next to her, still laying over the bed,
"...and the only way to know is, to tell you how I feel..." She sighed as she mumbled softly and getting off the bed, she placed the phone for charging and turning the lights off, got on the bed, thinking to have a peaceful sleep for the night, unaware that trails of her desire for Ace are waiting to approach to her in the form of dreams

As Nancy was asleep, she heard some sound in her room, and opened her eyes, only to see Ace getting inside her room through the window,
"Ace... What are you doing here?" as she got off the bed, "are you okay...? Is somebody behind y...?"
"Hey...Shhh..." He whispered coming closer and placing his thumb over her soft pink lips,
"I'm fine Nancy," he replied in a soft voice, "I just...couldn't pretend anymore..."
"Pretend what?" She questioned being confused,
"Pretend that I don't have feelings for you... When it was always you" he added looking deeply into her beautiful eyes that shined by the moonlight, and before Nancy could utter a word, Ace already grabbed her lips into his and begin kissing her, and she returned equally as she moved her fingers through his beautiful long hair, just like the dream escape experience

While continuing to kiss her, Ace pushed her over the bed, and moved down to her neck, behind her earlobe, and finally collar bone, to which Nancy let out a soft moan,
"You like this?" Ace whispered inbetween the kisses, and looked into her eyes,
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this..." She whispered back and after a quick eye lock, Ace once again begin kissing her and this time, it was deeper and intense than earlier, and at the same time touching her all over, to which she gasped deeply, and that made Nancy open her eyes in real, and broke her sleep, making her sit over the bed, all sweaty and breathing heavily

She looked around and realized that Ace was not in her room, and none this was real and it was just a dream; turning on the lamp, she grabbed the glass full of water, which was on the nightstand and took a sip,
"That was... What is happening to me?"
"...Am I still under some spell?" She thought placing the glass over the table and moving her slightly wet hair backward with her fingers

"I have to... Find a way to talk to Ace about this... Or I don't know about the frozen heart killer...or temperance... But these feelings are gonna kill me..." She thought further as she turned the lamp off after keeping the glass on the nightstand;
"But what will I say to him?" She continued as she pulled the sheets over her and laid herself over the bed, and taking a deep breath she further said to herself, "Yeah, I'll think about it when I wake up... Now, I'll rest up... I have a killer to catch and lives to save and about my feelings... This isn't not the right time... But I have to find a way to deal with that too" and thinking this, she exhaled and closed her eyes
