Unspoken Words [Nancy x Ace]

Chapter 8

"yeah... It's like, we knew each other for many years" Nancy replied grabbing a slice for herself
"Didn't we?" Ace turned to her,
"Logically... But, I never thought you are into someone like me" Nancy spoke, "I mean, I am a mess and..." before Nancy could continue the sentence, Ace spoke;

"I always liked you...just, didn't know that I liked you until something struck and I was like... 'she will never like me, coz I'm way out of her league' but, guess we were meant to be" Ace shrugged,
"Let me guess your first strike was? When you said sorry to be about the Chief McGinnis part?" Nancy tried guessing

"Not really... Wanna know when?" He questioned her, in a soft voice
"ah-ha," Nancy answer him with a yes,
"After I was back from Coma," Ace replied honestly;
"Wait what?" Nancy was shocked a bit and smiled, "that's why you came to me first the moment you were back for work and you were trying to talk to me...and I ran to attend the call...shit!" Nancy continued feeling bad

"Yeah, I did try to; And after that, I just felt you will never accept me, so..." Ace replied being honest,
"But you were with that fancy... witch, Laura that time" Nancy added mocking Ace,
"Yeah, but, even when she was back, I never felt I belong with her, that's why I choose you... all when she asked me to fly with her to Paris," Ace paused, "okay tell me when you got your first hit about your feelings"
"During the bluffs experience, and I did come here to tell you but..." Nancy sighed
"...but I was already off with Amanda" Ace continued her sentence

"Yeah, and I thought that you'll never pick me, coz I'm not sought person like the girls you pick" Nancy replied,
"Sorted? I've never seen any girl more sorted than you" Ace confronted her,
"Yeah? Very funny!" Nancy pouted and threw a crumpled tissue on his face,
"Nancy?!" Ace added and threw back the tissue at her and just then Nancy's phone buzzed

"Okay, pass me my bag, my phone is buzzing, must be George, I suppose" Nancy added pointing at her bag which was next to Ace's feet on the floor, where she kept earlier,
"No..." Ace pouted, "get yourself"
"You are soo mean!" Nancy added with a pout, and stretched herself over Ace, to get the bag; that's when their eyes met once again and they froze at the moment,
"What?" Nancy questioned him softly as he was looking at her,
"Nothing" he replied in a soft tone himself, "...umm you have little sauce over your lips"
"Hmm, why don't you wipe it then?" Nancy softly questioned him, in a way she knew what he was doing here and Ace got his thumb to her lips and moved it softly over her lower lip, but she was too beautiful to not get lost in her beautiful eyes and her soft lips were something he wanted to feel again; henceforth, he got her face closer to him, by pulling her chin closer to him

Their lips met once again, as Ace got close to her bit by bit and Nancy didn't even fight back to stop him to check her phone; she knew this was it! It was time to prioritize her relationship first which she failed in the past because Ace was someone she has seen her future with; the rest can come later, she thought

Ace then grabbed Nancy's waist and fell over the bed, with her on the top, still kissing each other more intensively than their earlier session;
"Damn, how do you get this dress off?" Ace groaned struggling to find a way to get the blue colored Claw uniform off Nancy and that made Nancy chuckle softly, "there's a zipper behind-" she then replied groaning and she was kissing him back,
"Got you!" He whispered back and reaching her back, he begin to unzip her dress, while she was reaching his belt; as Nancy's phone kept ringing

"Nancy your phone" Ace groaned as it was distrurbing them, but made sure not to stop his actions over her,
"Screw it... You are the only thing that matters right now" she whispered back not stopping either; and it looked like things will get streamy for them, if Nick wasn't the one calling on Ace's phone as well, while Nancy's kept ringing

"God, this is weird" Nancy stopped and sat as now their both phones were ringing,
"I wonder what is up now" Ace too sat and checked his phone and answered it,
"Hey, Nick," in a slightly panting tone,
"Ace, where were you? Where's Nancy? We've been trying to reach you both for the past 15 mins" Nick added through phone,
"Yeah, we were eating dinner, Nancy came over to check on me," Ace replied,
"And why are you panting if you were eating?!" Nick questioned while Nancy felt it was funny as she was sitting next to him and could hear Nick through the phone,
"That's coz I came running to answer the call" Ace was slightly annoyed, "anyways what's so important that you were ringing us both?"

"The frozen heart killer struck again!" George added by grabbing Nick's phone,
"Where?" Nancy questioned her,
"Outside the historical society" she replied, "we are already there, waiting on you both"
"Yeah we are on our way" Nancy added as she begin to put her shoes back which she took off when Ace was attending his mom

"Guess we are gonna have a long night" Nancy added cutting off the call, while Ace too was ready to rush,
"Yeah let's go" Ace added grabbing the pizza box with remaining slices, and Nancy nodded as she held her bag and jacket

Rushing down the hall, and to the dining room, Ace put the box on the dining table and added, "mom can you put the box in the fridge? We are in a rush"
"Yeah, sure Acie..." Ace's mom replied to him who was doing some typing on the laptop, "oh and you be safe" she further added looking at Nancy as they made their way out of the house in the rush, not even realizing that Nancy was with Ace this whole time and his mom owns the explanation

Ace's father who was in the study room when he saw them rush and asked Ace's mother in the sign language, "when did Nancy come here?"
"I have no idea" she replied in sign language, "but I do know what is happening here" with a happy smile on her face, understanding that Nancy is with Ace, without even them telling her;
"What?" He asked her back curiously,
"You'll see" she smile and Ace's father was a bit confused as well as curious.
