Unspoken Words [Nancy x Ace]

Chapter 13

"Good morning my sunshine-"
"Good morning my sunshine protector-" she added in a soft voice, "what's the time?" She further questioned, understanding by the sun being bright, she knew they were kinda running late to go to The Claw, and most importantly, she had her two dads getting home and before that, they both had to get dressed and be downstairs so that her both dads don't assume anything, as she wasn't ready yet to tell them about her and Ace

"It's gonna be 8:00 in a few minutes" Ace replied checking his phone,
"Oh no no... Ace, we gotta get up and get dressed..." Nancy added realizing probably, it's already late, "I don't want my both dads showering us with questions as they see us getting down together from my room-"
"Woah relax Nance, they both love me-" Ace added trying to calm her,
"Exactly, and it's unfair they both find you... in my room, with us screwing each other, behind their backs-" Nancy had her point, even though their dad's loved Ace, she wanted him to be good and respectful in their eyes, even after they come to know they are together,
"Yeah, you have a point" he agreed
"Alright, I'll use the bathroom quickly and head downstairs, later you can come..." She begin with a plan, "in case my two dads are already there, I'll inform you to get out through the window and come inside like you just came, or else I can tell them you were here last night, couch crashing and just taking shower upstairs"

"Cool..." He added and kissed her quickly on her lips,
"Hey don't feel bad about this, I just... I just don't want to spoil your image infront of them, I promise you we'll tell them tonight at the dinner-" Nancy was so guilty about this whole and sorry to Ace, and he touched her cheek and with a soft caress he added,
"Hey Nance, I love you and I get your point and I'm okay, and nothing can change my love or make it any less, it only increases to see how determined and focused you are on us"

"Of course, I am... I am serious about us... And i... Can't wait to marry you-" she added being dead serious,
"I know and I want to marry you too" he replied and kissed her deeply before Nancy grabbed the sheets and rushed to the shower

After a couple of minutes, Nancy headed downstairs only to find her two dad's sitting across dining table, eating some bagles they got while their way back

"Hey... Nancy, good morning!" Ryan added excitingly greeting her and that gave Nancy a nervous butterflies in her tummy,
"Hey, dad's... Good morning"
"Is Ace here? We saw his car outside" Carson added

"Umm... yeah... He is upstairs taking a shower- I called him to pick me up for work, coz we have to check on a lead we might have on the frozen hearts killer..." Nancy replied not realising her words at this point, being nervous
"Wait, why is he taking shower if you called him to take you for work?" Ryan questioned Nancy
"Umm... yeah, he.. Ummm.. he had to stay at The Claw last night, we had a shipment... of lobsters, come early today, so... he had to stay," Nancy replied nervously knowing she just, ALMOST busted them both, herself
"Oh, that explains" Ryan shrugged resuming eating the baygles, "and here, we got you some... There is a banana cream pie in that bag too-" he pointed and Nancy nervously smiled,
"Ha, thank you, dad's!"

Nancy quickly walked to the kitchen and pulling her phone out from the pocket, she texted Ace;
"Hey Ace, there is a small change in the plan after I almost busted us, My dads are already here, but you can come down, i told them that you stayed at The Claw last night, for an early shipment that arrived here this morning..., please don't be mad!"

After a few minutes Ace headed down as well, joining the others;
"Hey Ace, see...that's my man!" Ryan greeted Ace as he always, "come here man... Here eat some baygles"
"Mr. H, Mr. D, good morning..." Ace politely greeted the two and grabbed one baygle from the plate
"Nancy told us you stayed at The Claw last night... Dude you are welcome to stay here with us, anytime ya know-" Ryan replied,
"Yeah, he is right Ace, you can stay here the next time if you have early orders come in, considering The Claw is much closer from here" Carson replied agreeing Ryan; this gave Nancy and Ace both butterflies in their tummies;
"yeah, Mr. D, I'll consider that the next time" Ace replied and turned to Nancy giving her a quick look, and Nancy just knew that they had to leave before they accidentally say something else bust themselves out before the dinner that night

"Um... Dad, now if you'll excuse us, we have to leave, the others must be waiting for us to work-" Nancy added grabbing Ace's arm,
"But Nancy, it's your off today..." Ryan added, and that made Nancy nervous,
"Yeah, but we are... following on the frozen heart killers case," and replied out holding her bag, and Ace's and her coat, and walked out of the house

"ahhh! that was close!" Nancy added as she closed the door of the passenger's side, getting inside Ace's car;
"Nancy...." Ace couldn't hold it and chuckled, "relax!"
"I've never seen you so nervous, not even when you hide anything to cops"
"I know... was I so bad?!" She asked Ace with a slightly worried look;
"umm... not exactly, but I'm sure its till we talk to them" Ace replied and that's when Nancy realised that she forgot to tell the dinner idea to her dads

"Oh shit!" Nancy facepalmed, "i completely forgot about the dinner idea"
"Relax nancy, you can just text them later" Ace replied calming her down, after seeing her get more nervous and anxious,
"Yeah, you are right" she let out a breath, and Ace then touched her cheek and replied in a calm voice, "Easy there baby, you gotta learn to calm down..."
and that's when Nancy calmed down, as her eyes met his; he was everything she wanted, not just today or at the moment, but for her life; someone who could handle her madness and craziness all at ones;
"Maybe the last night's adrenaline is still high in my body" she whispered;
"Maybe I could help you in that-" he replied with a smirk and pulling her face closer, Ace kissed her, but Nancy broke the kiss quickly and added, "you know I want this so badly... but not here... i don't want my dads to suspect us, until tonight, coz it will be so awkward to find out we slept together when they were away for a night,"
"Good point!" Ace replied with a nod before he hit the ignition and they drove off, with an little or no idea that their tension to hold each other wasn't gonna let them have an easy day.
