Jael Strong was seventeen-years-old when she left Los Angeles in her rearview mirror. Escaping the Golden State for a fresh start after her father figure was killed in a car accident and her boyfriend was sent to prison for nearly beating a man to death. She refused to let herself look back, keeping her eyes forward as she found herself settling down in the sunny clime that is Miami.
With a new name and obstacles laid out ahead of her, Jael finds herself becoming Catalina Seymour-- a young woman trying to make it on her own in a new city. Working shifts at a local restaurant while also enjoying the fast-paced racing scene every now and again. It's only a matter of time before she catches the eye of someone passing through the city.
