Ye Lisa looked at the fair-skinned and chubby baby that was sleeping soundly in the crib. The sweet smell of milk permeated the space he was in. She couldn't resist leaning over and kissing him.

It was a very light kiss, but the baby woke up from it. 

He didn't cry or fuss. He stretched out his little legs and his big eyes looked around until they settled on Ye Lisa without wavering. He reached out towards her and babbled.

"Want mom to hold you?"

The baby's little legs moved around more actively.

On the side, one of the nannies said with a smile, "Mrs. Jeon, Young Master is usually very quiet. He doesn't cry or throw a tantrum. He's the most well-behaved baby that I've ever seen."

"Did you hear that?" Ye Lisa teased Zhouzhou, "She's praising you. You're a good baby. Don't pull on mom's hair again."

Zhouzhou kicked his feet. He seemed increasingly anxious and his babbling increased in volume.

Ye Lisa picked up the baby, gently patted his back, and headed downstairs.

When the people in the side hall saw Ye Lisa coming downstairs with the baby, they all looked up. The baby in the swaddling clothes looked cute and beautiful. He wasn't scared of strangers and looked at everyone with his big eyes. He would look straight at you, so cute and well-behaved. Truly, a very likeable baby.

There was an unending stream of praises. Everyone took this opportunity to take out the presents they had prepared for the baby. It didn't take long for this little baby to receive a lot of gifts.

In contrast, Shen Eunha was standing at the side and quietly observing. She only looked at the baby for a few seconds and didn't look very happy to see him. Her expression was faint, and it was hard to tell what she was thinking.

One of the Jeon family’s maids brought over a glass of juice for Shen Eunha. A moment of carelessness when Shen Eunha took the glass and she ended up spilling most of the juice on her white dress. The maid cried out in alarm and tried to wipe off the juice with her sleeve. Most of the eyes in the side hall turned to look at Shen Eunha.

Shen Eunha didn't get upset that her perfectly nice dress had gotten stained. She faintly smiled and comforted the maid that kept apologizing.

"Aunty, do you have any extra clothes? I..."

"Yes. Lili ah, go find clothes that haven't been worn yet for Eunha." Mother Jeonpatted Ye Lisa's hand and whispered, "You're the host today. Don't lose face."

Ye Lisa understood her meaning. She stood up, led Shen Eunha to her room on the second floor, and chose a blue dress that she hadn't worn before.

Shen Eunha went into the bathroom and changed into the new dress. When she came out, she went to the dressing mirror and looked at her reflection from different angles. "Miss Ye, this dress is quite suitable for me. It looks like it was custom-made for me."

This woman was a deep and shrewd schemer and wouldn't be easy to deal with. Ye Lisa didn't want to bother with engaging in mind games with her.

"It's good that it fits you. Let's go downstairs."

"Miss Ye..."

Ye Lisa corrected her, "Please address me as Mrs. Jeon. We should go downstairs."

However, Shen Eunha stood still. She looked at Ye Lisa through the mirror. "I forgot to congratulate you. You successfully gave birth to Jeon family's next heir. Now you can rest easy in the future."

Ye Lisa furrowed her brow. Why did Shen Eunha say these words in such a provoking tone? Shen Eunha was someone that had been in the entertainment circle for a long time. Her words had thorns in them and none of it was pleasant to hear.

Ye Lisa didn't feel like bickering with her. She raised her foot and walked towards the door.

"However, what I don't understand is, your son's first lunar month birthday should be a big event. Why was it so carelessly handled by having it at home instead of arranging an extravagant affair with no expenses spared?"

Ye Eunha looked at her with a smile. "So Miss Shen thinks our Jeon family's celebration is a shabby disgrace. That's okay. I'll escort you out then."
