The relationships between mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws were usually complicated since ancient times. However, Mother Jeon treated her very well. She didn't want Jungkook to neglect his mother because he had gotten married. That would hurt Mother Jeon's feelings.

"Don't worry. I prepared a gift for mom too."

"That's good."

Ye Lisa's sweet smile made Jungkook feel as if he was walking on clouds, but he maintained a lofty cold look. He secretly decided to keep searching for things that his wife would like. He would give them to her as Valentine's Day presents, wedding anniversary presents, birthday gifts, etc.

"Alright, let's go inside first."

While indifferently striding back into the villa, Jungkook held Ye Lisa's hand and the corners of his lips instinctively curved up. 

Ye Lisa's blood jade bracelet was a unique attraction. As they were walking to the side hall, many of the guests' gazes were attracted to her snow-white wrist.

The married ladies in the villa's side hall saw Ye Lisa coming into the hall and immediately noticed the blood jade bracelet that she was wearing. However, the people here had seen a great deal in their lives and stunned surprise wasn't something that was allowed to exist on their faces. None of their expressions changed as they silently observed.

It was Mrs. Jeon, who asked in surprise after seeing the jade bracelet that Ye Lisa was wearing, "Lili, this is..."

Ye Lisa smiled. "Jungkook gave this to me."

As soon as Mrs. Jeon heard that it was a gift from Jungkook, she pretended to be angry by saying, "Very good, everyone look, Jungkook has forgotten his mom now that he has a wife. When Jungkook buys something for his wife, he doesn't even think to get something for his mom while he’s at it.”

Ye Lisa quickly smiled and said, "That's perfect then. Since mom likes this jade bracelet, I'll give this jade bracelet to mom. Anyways, Jungkook has prepared a gift for mom too. We'll just switch presents."

She started to pull the blood jade bracelet off her wrist.

Mother Jeon smiled as she poked Ye Lisa's forehead. "You sly girl. How could such an eye-catching color be suitable for a woman of my age? You're making a joke at mom's expense."

"How would I be able to? Mom, you're so young. When we go out shopping, the store employees are sure to mistake us as sisters."

One of the married ladies teased, "You have such a sweet-talking daughter-in-law and such a cute grandson. How enviable."

Mrs. Jeon only pursed her lips into a smile and didn't say anything.

"Lili, your bracelet is made from blood jade, right? I remember that blood jade of that quality is very rare. I like to collect jade too. I've bought a lot, but I haven't been able to acquire a piece of blood jade. For Jungkook to buy a piece and one of such good quality, he must have put in a lot of effort.."

"Is blood jade that precious?"

"Of course, something that has high demand but limited supply will always be valuable. Jungkook is truly very attentive.

Ye Lisa smiled. She didn't feign humbleness. She carefully stroked her blood jade bracelet and said, "Yeah, Jungkook is truly very thoughtful."

Her heart wasn't made of stone. Regardless of Jungkook's original intention and purpose, she couldn't find any fault with how well he had treated her during this period of time.

The sounds of laughter and congratulations in the villa lasted from the afternoon to dusk. Zhouzhou's lively first lunar month birthday celebration finally came to an end when the sky had turned dark.

At the end of the celebration, Jungkook stood outside the front doors to send off the guests while the servants tidied up the villa.

When Jungkook turned around to go back to the villa, the older butler was standing in the doorway.

The older butler slightly bowed. With a solemn expression, he said, "Young Master, Old Master is requesting that you go to his study."

The old butler's tone was outside of Jungkook's expectations. "What happened?"

The old butler slightly shook his head. "You'll know once you go there."

Jungkook walked upstairs to the study.

At this moment, the rest of Jeon's were already gathered there.
