Zhouzhou stopped putting his hand into his mouth after getting the pacifier. As he focused on sucking on his pacifier, he eventually drifted off to sleep.

Ye Lisa whispered, “Did you have a tendency of sticking your hand into your mouth when you were a baby?”

“All little kids have bad habits. Just take your time to slowly correct them.” Jungkook put the baby on the bed, took off his jacket, and prepared to go take a shower. “It’s getting late. You should go to sleep early.”

“Wait, I have something to tell you before going to bed.”

Jungkook turned around and looked down on her. “What is it?”

“Regarding the spokesperson for your company…” Ye Lisa, who was looking up at Jungkook, suddenly felt a bit scared. “Have you heard of Meng Jisoo?”

Surprised at the change in topic, Jungkook didn’t say anything for a while. He racked his brains for what he knew about Meng Jisoo. “She’s a good candidate. I’ll have the PR Department contact her tomorrow.”

“Wait, I have something else I want to say.” Ye Lisa felt quite depressed. She shouldn’t act as if she was the embodiment of justice and truth since she was asking him for a favor.

On second thought though, she was doing this to help Jungkook earn money. There was no reason to take an inferior stance.

After coming to that conclusion, Ye Lisa raised her head and straightened up. “Do you remember that I said I would earn a lot of money for you? I have some investment ideas. Would you be willing to take time from your busy schedule to hear me out?”

“Earn a lot of money? Investment ideas?” Astonishment flashed through Jungkook’s eyes. Soon after, he indulgently smiled and nodded. “How about we sit down to talk?”

“Sure!”

The two of them sat down on the sofa.

Ye Lisa seriously looked at him. “As far as I know, you’re very interested in making investments. Investing is risky, and you have to be cautious when you’re entering a market. Even you can’t guarantee that all venture projects will be successful. I counted it up. Since you’ve taken charge of Jeon Corporation, you’ve developed seven subsidiaries and each one was in a different industry. They’ve all made considerable profits.”

Jungkook seriously listened to her speak and nodded his head from time to time to indicate agreement.

“Are you interested in getting a share of the profits in the film and television industry?”

“Film and television industry?”

“Don’t underestimate the film and television industry. The profits from the entertainment industry will become considerable in the future. The economic benefits brought by celebrities will definitely be beyond your imagination!”

Jungkook contemplated her words. The smile in his eyes had disappeared a lot. He looked at Ye Lisa and asked, “You really think there will be a lot of profit in the film and television industry?”

Ye Lisa was naturally full of confidence. She has the cheat of “seeing the future”.

But, even if she had this cheat and knew how the future would develop, it sucked that she couldn’t explain to Jungkook why the film and television industry would bring  unimaginably high economic benefits in the future.

As the boss of a company, Jungkook made his decisions based on hard numbers. She had nothing to back up her words. Why would Jungkook believe her?

“If you invest, I’ll give you 10% of the company’s shares in return. What do you think?” Ye Lisa thought about the 10% of the company shares that she had and thought this was a very good deal. 

Jungkook stared at her eager eyes and faintly smiled.

“If you want to try it out, just try it. What’s mine is yours. You don’t have to exchange anything for it. It’ll be good if you earn a profit. If there’s a loss, that’s okay too. No matter how much money you lose, I can afford it.”

There was no reason to ask Ye Lisa further questions. It was as he said. Even if she loses money, no matter how much she loses, he could afford it. It was just money. For him, money was the cheapest thing.

Under the bright light, there was ardent starlight in his eyes. It was as if there were a sea of stars in his eyes. In his deep eyes, she could see light and soul. It was easy to feel a sympathetic response and even be moved by his deep affection and attentiveness. 

Jungkook gulped. He had loosen the top two buttons of his shirt, and yet there was still the scent of self-restraint.

Desire silently rose up in the room.

Ye Lisa saw the indulgence in his eyes. Her brain was buzzing and chaotic. She couldn’t think. An unknown impulse was pushing her. The entanglement of a man and woman’s pheromones gradually made her short of breath. It felt as if the surrounding temperature had suddenly gone up, and her body was gradually becoming hot.
