Atlantic- IU

" You've got to be kidding me." I mumble under my breathe.

" Is there a problem?" Conner asked.

" I try not to fly." I give a simple answer, grateful that the helmet covers my whole face and no one can see how scared shitless I am.

" Why not?" Megan asked.

" Some people don't like me in the skies." I tried to keep my answers short so they wouldn't get scared.

" Like who?" Nightwing asked.

" Um, I'm sure it will be fine."

" Smooth." Kaldur says behind me. Everyone within earshot of this conversation slowed to a stop

" Thanks." I sigh.

I slowly walk onto the ship, since I was the last one the door closed behind me. But the door melted together, making me jump. Kaldur smiled at me, " Don't fret, you will be fine."

" Would you like a seat?" Megan asked.

" Yes, please." I begged.

Suddenly, another chair morphed up from the ground. Red Hood was in one beside it and Kaldur took the one on the other side. I sat down and the seatbelt melted on to me again. I bit my lip so I wouldn't yelp. I closed my eyes and tilted my head up as much as I could with my plume.

" Do you regret coming?" Kaldur asked.

" I didn't really want to come anyways." I groaned as I felt the plan take off. " Diana owes me one now."

" So, you speak Atlantic?" Jason asked.

" Mhm." I squeeze my eyes tighter and grip my organic seatbelt as we started picking up speed.

" Please don't puke in the ship." Artemis said.

" I'm not going to puke. I don't get motion sick. I'm just scared of getting struck down."

There was awkward silence for a couple seconds, then Jason, " What?"

" By who?" Megan asked.

" I'm sure it's fine." I probably shouldn't have said as much as I did, but oh well.

" But I fly all the time, and I'm fine." Kaldur reasons.

" That's different. No offense, but I don't think he knows who you are. And he kind of hates me." Thunder rumbled softly in the background, and I groaned again.

" He?" Dick asked.

" My uncle."

" And, who is he?" Wally asked carefully.

" Zeus."

" Oh, right, your Diana's cousin." Jason connected the dots.

" Would he really strike you down?" Artemis questioned.

" I mean, he hasn't done it yet." I shrugged. I opened my eyes to see land flying past below us.

" How many planes have you been on?" Conner asked. He had been so quite I had forgotten he was there.

" One or two planes and flying ship."

" A flying ship?" Wally exclaimed, " That's so cool!"

Wally asked a bunch of questions, " Just stop right there. I have no idea, I didn't help make the boat or do any repairs."
