Shalini pov:

Maybe I wasn't fast enough to save us both from the shot. But glad it's not paining that much, maybe I am lying to myself. Yes, it's like hell lot of pain and I am crying mess in Adhi's arms . Is it a good time to die ? Guess so, I would peacefully leave now.

He's crying heavily and screaming my name and trying to call an ambulance but my head is spinning around and his voice is muffled. I can't lift my shoulders; a pool of blood is flowing out. I meet adhi's eyes for a second. He is holding my lifeless frame, the irony say's it all. "adhi" the last words left my mouth as I close my eyes.

Adithya pov :

" shalini inga paru ma please, ennakaga please oru vatti kanna thorama please ma" I begged her as I held her in my arms. She's not responding, blood is oozing out from her left shoulder.

( shalini look at me, please open your eyes for me)

" Shalini nee edhuku di ennaya kapathuna , ma enna pa-parumaa" I cried in horror tapping her face and shaking her slightly and continued " what about your wish list Shalini, we need to finish that right please ma enna paaru, en kuda iru ma"

( shalini why did you save me? please look at me, stay with me)

An ambulance pulled up near the gas station and a man gently took her from and he placed in the stretcher, a doctor came and checked her. I never prayed to god, never in my life but today I prayed to all the gods above to give back my Shalini to me.

"sir neenga ambulance erunga, pakathula dhan sir hospital. Don't worry we will save her " the doctor reassured me and I shivered in horror and climbed onto the ambulance.

( sir dive in into the ambulance, hospital is nearby)

the doctor took out the iv line and strapped it to her hand and sat in front of the ambulance. Quickly the ambulance started to head towards the hospital. I gently took her hand in mine, she responded by firmly holding it.

" Shalini unnaku onnum illa, en Shalini en kuda irupa" I reassured her. a single tear rolled down her cheek. I wiped it away and kissed her on her forehead.

( shalini, nothing will happen to you, you will stay with me)

The ambulance stopped and pulled out the stretcher out of it and moved her into the hospital.

"sir neenga ingaya wait pannunga " the doctor said.

And there my Shalini goes into the operation theatre, leaving the grip of her hand on mine, leaving me alone.

I sat on the chair, and stared the ceiling , with eyes full of tears, weak on my knees and having faith.

"Adithya " maara shook me, my eyes shoot up behind him and I saw Arjun and Meghna running towards us.

" Adithya enna da aachu, yaaru Shalini ah shoot panadhu? Ava eppadi iruka? Enna naduthuchu ethavathu solli thola da" he yelled in anger
