I was sitting on the bench when I heard someone called me. I immediately turn my head where the voice came from. There I saw my boyfriend walking in my direction with a rose on his left hand and a guitar on the right.
"How are you?" he kissed my cheeks and gave me the flower.
"I'm good. Medyo stress lang sa school works. Ikaw? Are you done with your practice?"
Tumango naman siya bilang pagsagot. I notice that he is busy playing with my hand which he always does. I really find it cute, naging habit na ata niya.
"Your hands are so small, love" saad niya habang pinagtatabi ang kamay naming dalawa.
"No, your hands are just too big" I pouted.
He gave me his sweetest smile and a pecked on the lips.
"I love you" he whispered while caressing my cheeks.
"I love you more, love."

"HELLO!! IS CASSANDRA HILARY ASUNCION THERE?! HEY! KNOCK! KNOCK!"
I came back to my senses when my brother shouted at me. May pagtuktok pa sa ulo ang loko. Baliw talaga.
"Ano bang iniisip mo at nakatulala ka dyan? Feeling ko pasan mo ang buong mundo dahil sa mukha mo. Mas lalo kang pumanget!"
"Wala! Bakit ka ba nandito sa kwarto ko?! Nagpunta ka lang ba dito para mang asar?!" epal talaga 'tong kapatid ko, sumusulpot nalang bigla. Tsk!
"Ano bang problema? Ilang araw ka ng ganyan" seryosong tanong niya.
Ano nga bang problema? Naging ganto lang naman ako simula nung dumating si Simon. Mula nang makita ko siya ulit bumalik na lahat.
Lahat ng mga alaala na akala ko'y nakalimutan ko na.
"Hilary" nilingon ko ang kapatid ko na ngayon ay nakatingin sa'kin.
"I'm okay, Kuya. Don't worry about me."
Pinilit kong ngumiti para makita niya na okay lang ako.
"Ano bang kailangan mo?" pag-iiba ko ng usapan.
"Simon called, he was asking about the invitation."
I stiffined when I heard his name. Hindi niya talaga ako nilulubayan. Psh.
"He called you? I didn't know you exchange numbers already."
"Kinuha niya yung number ko the first time he came here. Hindi niya ba hiningi yung sayo?"
"Why would he? Besides wala naman kaming dapat pag-usapan para hingin niya. I may sound bitter pero totoo naman. He's the first one to cut off our communication 2 years ago tapos ngayon hihingin niya number ko? Anong klaseng logic yun? Tch."
"Ang bitter mo nga. Nagtanong lang ako ang dami mo ng sinabi."
"Yeah whatever! Sabihin mo sa kanya hindi parin ako nakakapag decide."
Lumabas ng kwarto ang kapatid ko at naiwan na naman akong mag-isa. Until now I can't decide whether I should go or not.
Hilary ayusin mo desisyon mo sa buhay. E ano naman kung invited ka? We're not even in a relationship anymore. Bakit affected ka parin?
"Arghh!" I hissed out of frustration.

5 pm. I was busy checking some files in my office when someone knocked on my door.
"Come in!"
It was my secretary informing me that someone is waiting for me downstairs.
"Okay. I'll be there in a few minutes. Btw, you can go home Klae. Tapos na din naman ako."
"Yes po. Ingat din po kayo, Miss Hilary."
Habang nasa elevator ako hindi ko mapigilan isipin kung sino ang naghihintay sa'kin sa baba.
"Cassandra!" as the elevator opened I heard this familiar voice shouted my name.
Teka! Isang tao lang naman ang tumatawag sa'kin sa first name ko.
Dali dali kong hinanap kung saan nanggagaling ang boses and there I saw my bestfriend, Vincent Marcos.
Tumakbo siya papalapit sa'kin and niyakap ako ng mahigpit.
"I missed you, Cass"
"I missed you too, William" I giggled as we hug each other tightly.
"Don't call me that!" reklamo niya. Ayaw na ayaw niya talaga na tinatawag siya sa first name niya.
"Kailan ka pa bumalik?"
"I just arrived from the airport and dumiretso na ako dito. Alam ko kasing namimiss mo na kapogian ko" habang tinataas-baba ang kilay at nag pogi sign pa.
I laugh at his cuteness. He's so adorable ang sarap sarap pisilin ng pisngi niya. I really missed this boy. Almost 1 year din kaming hindi nagkita.
"Anyway as I was saying, Mama Meldy wants to see you. Are you done with your work?"
"Yum! Pauwi na sana ako. Bakit daw?"
"I don't know. The real thing is she asked me to pick you up right now kasi sa bahay tayo mag di-dinner. Kaya let's go na."
He immediately grab my hand leaving me speechless. The next time I know nasa harap na ako ng mansion ng Pamilyang Marcos.
