Chapter 7: "Thank You "

Evelyn POV:

It is currently 3:08 am I am not able to sleep all I have in thinking is what the stupid boss of mine did I am supposed to be at the office in 5 hours it's been two days since the incident in the office. I learnt many new things about Kinsley CO. It is the world's most successful and famous company. 'why don't I go for a run I thought' I went to my wardrobe and found some good and comfy running clothes after some good 10 minutes I took my wallet and went to the garage and drove to the nearest park which was 8 minutes away. I parked my car and started walking towards the park that's wehen I again felt that someone is watching me I tried to act normal as I can I quickly started doing some warm up exercises after 5 minutes I went to the running area and I slowly started jogging every minute I moved my pace up now I feel that person who is following me not catching up with me 'guess this person is not a fast runner' I smirked I finished one lap and I was about to start my second lap that's when I suddenly stopped I felt a strong aura coming towards me and this person or whatever is Fast I took my phone out and connected it my AirPods playing some music so they don't think I know that they are following me I started running a little fast so I don't lose all my energy how much ever fast I ran that person was following me I quickly opened my mind link and told Mike, Bella and Rachel
'wake up dumbasses' 'There are two people following me' I said
'I am not sure but there is someone also definitely following me' said Mike
'Where are you' 'I said I am at the park next to our house' (mine and Mike's house were 15 minutes apart)
'even I am there' I said 'where are you standing' he said 'I am wearing a beige tank top and Some black sweat pants I am wearing mama' s black zip up jacket' I said 'oh your in front of me'
'wait Let me try and act to tie my shoe lace proper' I said 'guys be careful' said Rachel and Bella 'We will' me and Mike said I went to the side and bent down trying to act as tying my shoe lace I finished 'I finished tying my shoe lace' I said 'look up' that's when I spotted Mike and made contact with him I made a small nod and started running again I went in front of him and ran fast so this lowsy pests who are following us don't know we are related or something 'I am going to go have breakfast now' I said 'OK Once you leave after few minutes I will also leave', 'ok' I left and drove to MAMA Lee's Café "good morning ma'am what would you like" asked the waitress in a sweet tone "hi good morning can I have one dark coffee and your breakfast menu, thank you" "your welcome is there anything else you would like" "no thank you that's it" "your total is $10" I nodded "do you take card"
"yes we do 1 minute ma'am" she said, she took my card to the counter and swiped it "here is your receipt" "your order will be done in 5 minutes" she said and left
I unlocked my phone and saw what the time was it was 5:28 "3 hours left" I said in a frown after 5 minutes one of the waiters came and served me my food "enjoy!" the young boy who looked like he was in collage Said I gave him a small smile and nodded oh boy let me tell you the food smelled amazing I ate my food enjoying the sunrise 🌅 after 15 minutes I was done I washed my hands and I called out the two people who served me I gave the girl and boy a 100 dollar top they looked at me in shock they were on the verge of crying "hey hey don't cry" I said "its just that no one has ever given us this huge of a tip thank you" they said "oh don't worry" I said and gave them a hug "Thank you again" they said I smiled and left the place feeling happy. The happy I was feeling flew away until I remembered I needed to go straight to the devils cave 'at least I don't feel anyone following me' i muttered.
