This song has been stuck in my head lately so I wanted to share it with y'all lol
Anyways... Time for the climax !

Mikoto POV

"Misaka, I found it!" Uihara whispered to Misaka

Uihara and Saten had a sleepover at Mikoto and Kuroko's dorm so Uihara had more to look for information. After 5 hours of them digging for information about Himawari's whereabouts only Mikoto and Uihara had stayed awake. And finally after those 5 hours of waiting Uihara found Himawari's location.

"What!Really?!" I shouted

"Shhhh... you're gonna wake up Kuroko and Saten-san" Uihara whispered to me.

"Oh... sorry...Anyways just show me" I whispered back. She pulled her chair away from the desk and let me see "Here" she whispered.

"This isn't very far from Tokiwadai!" I exclaimed. I got up and put on some casual clothes and some shoes.

"Misaka-san are you going to go alone? It's already 2am in the morning." Said in a quiet voice

"It's too dangerous for Kuroko and you guys to get involved. It's better this way." I said walking towards the door

"Misaka-san why are you going this far for her?" Uihara asked right before I could turn the doorknob

"Well... it's because... she's a very important f-friend of mine" I choked out blushing.

Uihara smirked "ahhhh I see. It's love, huh. I'm not that surprised. Himawari is a beautiful girl, many girls would want to be in that kinda relationship with her". She winked at me

"I-I-I-It's n-not l-love... she's just a very g-g-good friend of mine!" I stuttered out and ran out of the room

3rd POV

As Misaka ran out of the room Uihara stood by the door and sighed. "Be careful Misaka-san" and turned around to go to sleep.

Mikoto POV

I sprinted to the streets stopping at an alleyway. "It should be right here" I said while pressing my hand against a small area on a building building to the right of me. Suddenly the ground came from under me and I fell straight down.

"ahhhhhhhhh-ouch" I yelled while landing on my butt. I was in a dark looking hallway I walked through multiple rooms until I saw one that was being guarded by 5 people. That must be where they're keeping Himawari I thought.
I tiptoed towards the room while the guards stood there drinking and talking to each other.

"Mannnnn... we got such a boring job" one said

"Yea what's even the point of watching her. She is unable to use her powers at the moment anyways"

"Aye don't underestimate the girl. Do you know how many people she's killed hahahaha"

"It's not like she has the mentality of a murder it's just that she's forced to kill whoever the boss wants her to kill just like us"

As I cringed in disgust at their words. I'm going to make him pay for what he did to Hima I thought while balling my fist in anger.
I snuck up to their group and as I got within 6 feet I electrocuted all of them knocking them to the ground. I reached for the door handle took a deep breath and turned the knob. What I saw was absolutely awful Himawari was sitting against the wall curled into a ball. "Leave me alone. I'm not going to fight her I don't care what you do to me, but leave her out of it... she's the only person I have left in this world." She sobbed

I ran towards her and embraced her "it's alright Hima... it's just me" I whispered

She tensed for a moment then relaxed and hugged back "Miko... why?" She cried sniffling before picking up her speech "why are you so nice to me? I treated your friends like crap and I'm always making fun of you and I hurt you as well... why are you going so far to help someone like me" she cried squeezing harder against my chest

I stood up pulling her up with me and looked down into her eyes "Hima... don't you remember we pinky promised to always be friends. We'll always be besties Hima" I said smiling. A sense of shock fell into her face before she widely smiled as well and she cried in my arms once again, but the didn't look like tears of sadness this time. This is my chance I have to take the lead now or else I may never get the chance I thought

"But... I don't want to be friends forever with you Hima." I grabbed her hand and interlaced it with mine. She blushed before looking up to me shyly

"Miko... you don't understand what you're saying"- she mumbled out before I cut her off

"Yes I do" I took a deep breath and continued "I know what you've been through and I know it will be hard, but I l-love you Hima and I want to be with You!" I shouted the last part blushing. I watched Hima reel back with her face washed with shock before she brought out a huge smile nodding her head quickly. I pulled her closer into another embrace and she hugged back warmly. Despite her being locked in this dark and cold room she smells... nice I thought.

"Miko...I love you too and I want to be with you forever" she whispered

"Well good because we're going home together" I said with a smile

"Well... I'm glad you all have had such a nice reunion but it looks like I'm going to have to cut it short". I heard a voice jeer while walking into the room. It's the scientist Kaito... the one responsible for all the scars Hima came back with and all the pain she has endured I thought to myself.

"I'm truly surprised you could get into this place Misaka Mikoto, but luckily you did me the favor of looking for you myself"

"Now it's time that the strongest esper the world will ever see reveals themselves!" He shouted

(A/N: How are you guys doing. I was so excited to write this chapter since this was the scene that I had in my head when I decided to write this book. And now it's finally come to pass. The next chapter will be the season finale for this ark it's gonna be great. Stay tuned and stay warm!
