Himawari's Heart (Hima Ark Season Finale!)

Shout out to @demonyuko890 and @NS_NotSane for always supporting this book it motivates me to keep writing it😭 anyways enough talking and let's get into the season finale.

Mikoto POV

"Back off creep, your not doing anything to Hima anymore now that I'm here!" I shouted

"Ahhhh Misaka Mikoto what makes you think that you are in any state to protect her" he tapped his temple then yelled "Kill Her!"
Himawari who was in my arms tense up. She grabbed her head and screamed in pain. Her bright golden eyes were became a crimson red and after a few seconds she hesitantly stood up.

"Hima! Are you Ok!" I asked her. Her eyes flashed from gold to red a few times as she forced out her speech "Miko... R-Run..."

The second she finished her sentence purple lightning shot out from Himawari creating a huge shockwave. We're still underground I thought. When the dust cleared Himawari was no where to be found is what I thought until I realized she was right behind me. The moment I heard her snap her fingers I knew I had realized her position too late.

"Discharge"

The explosion she emitted was so powerful that I could feel the entire building collapsing. The explosion had sent me flying. I was quick to my feet as the smoke cleared I saw Hima standing in front of Kaito her eyes glaring a crimson red right towards me. "Hima stop! What are you doing!" I shouted trying to get her attention.

"Sorry Miss Misaka, but she can't hear you anymore all she can do is feel the hate that she has endured for years and years. You should already know that she is my ultimate weapon... the first level 6 ever engineered by man!" Kaito shouted. "She will be the Key to capturing academy city by force! Now how about we take this fight upstairs eh!" He shifted the gravitational force and reversed it, forcing all three of us flying upwards until we were above ground. Is was pitch black dark outside and the streetlights that were supposed to be on were out my guess going to the purple lighting Himawari is producing. Damn it! Why can't I ever protect her?!? And now the only choice I have is to fight her? I thought

"Kill her! Himawari!" Kaito yelled Himawari set her sights on me and dashed faster then I could react and engaged with hand to hand combat at first. After dodging a roundhouse kick she turned around and struck me with her open palm knocking me down for a moment. Until I realaized I couldn't move "What?" I gasped as I saw Himawari looking down at me in an unknown looking fighting stance to me

"The gentle fist. All strikes are aimed at your vitals. Resistance is futile." She said plainly

"Perfect! End It Now, Himawari!" Kaito shouted

"Sorry Himawari" I made a lightning spear after getting back to my feet quickly while she was distracted listening to Kaito and channeled electricity into my feet and I struck the spear towards Hima. I already know she will dodge this, however by dodging this it will be a chance for me to restrain her I thought but Himawari didn't move at to dodge and I gasped right before I thought it would strike her and the lighting coated spear I made dispersed a few inches away from her shocking not only me but Kaito as well.

"a... amazing. So this is the Power of a level 6!" He shouted "Himawari show all your True power don't hold anything back destroy everything! And plunge this world into despair!" He yelled maniacally I gasped looking towards Himawari noticing the clouds darkening the sparks of lighting started to change from purple to black and her red eyes had a weird symbol resembling that of a shurikan (A/N: Guess what it is)

"Kamui!" Himawari shouted

And The spear that I used against Hima was warped right in front of me and I barely had a chance to dodge before it struck the area right next to me forcing me to jump into the air. Hima was already there of course striking me back towards the ground. I was was bleeding from a cut on my face, I didn't have time to worry about that because Himawari had her hand coated in a black looking lightning and as we continued to fight again she swiped at me with it and when she missed the building behind me was struck and split in two luckily it was abandoned so more then likely no one got hurt.

"Storm release, Laser circus!" Himawari shouted and before I could blink a disk of bright energy was in Himawari's out stretched palms and then it was released multiple strands of lighting coming my way. I managed to escape by parrying and dodging but I was so far on the defensive I never had a chance to retaliate.

Finally after blocking and parrying for about a minute the attack struck me on my left shoulder shoulder knocking me over with a grunt. I no longer could keep up with Himawari and I had exhausted my esper powers to battle her and not even a scratch lay on her face. I forced myself to sit up as I held my left shoulder I guess this is it I thought as Himawari walked up to me slowly. Her eyes had shifted to a dimly lit crimson red eyes

"Do it now Himawari! Show Academy city your Power!" Kaito yelled

When she had gotten to about 4 feet from me I gasped. "Hima... I'm sorry" I said

I saw tears brimming in her eyes and saw them flash from crimson to gold for a few moments. "No I'm sorry, Miko" she cried

"What are you doing Himawari! Kill her!" Kaito yelled. Himawari tensed and her eyes flashed between red and Gold again but she remained herself and crouched down to my level. As she's pressed her lips against mine I tensed in shock before I closed my eyes and melted into the kiss and kissed back.

"Hima... Welcome back" I said pressing my forehead against hers, but she shook her head

"Sorry Miko but I have to ask you a favor and you might hate me forever for this, but I refuse to let you get hurt because of me"

"What do you mean-" I asked but she grabbed my right arm and I felt her electric currents flowing through me

"Miko I'm going to teach you a new technique... remember well" she whispered softly. I felt purple lighting swirling into a blade in my palm "what is this...?" I asked

"Raikiri. The lighting cutter" she grabbed my forearm and before I could react she forced my arm to pierce through her chest. She clinched onto me and held in her embrace.

"The perfect move to kill. Me." She choked with blood flowing out of her mouth. "Hima! WHY!?!" I screamed

"Because I love you Miko" she grinned before dropping limp into my arms
