A different time... (Springtrap and Deliah)

Chapter 12

" Deliah, who is that?" Harry asked again.

" You know how my 'dad' left before I was born. That's him," Deliah said.

Harry pushed Deliah out of the way and stood in front of her.

" You got a problem?" Harry asked.

Nick stopped walking, " Who are you?".

" You really don't know anything about Deliah, do you? I'm her friend," Harry said.

" Well, I need to talk to her," Nick said.

" No you don't," Harry said.

Deliah stood there in shock. Harry never defended her like this. He never acted like this.

" Deliah, you need to talk to your mom," Nick said.

" Talk to her about what? Letting you in her life?" Harry asked.

Deliah walked in front of Harry, knowing she couldn't just let him talk for her.

" I don't need you, and I don't want you in my life!" Deliah yelled.

" Deliah, I'm your father!" Nick yelled.

" You are nothing to me! You abandoned me! I don't need you! Come on Harry," Deliah said as she got back on her bike.

" Okay"

Nick watched as they rode off.

They stopped near their houses. Deliah was out of breath from riding fast.

" You okay Dels? I've never seen you like that," Harry said.

" I just couldn't let you defend me. I don't need him, I have... Springy," Deliah replied. 

Harry realized that she had hesitated.

" Why do you think he's trying to come back?" Harry asked.

" It's all a trick, he's just trying to use us. My mom told me about him," Deliah said.

" You think he's gonna quit?" Harry asked.

" Hopefully, let's go home. We can play video games instead," Deliah said.

Harry laughed," I'm not gonna argue with that".

Hours later...

" Hey sweety, how was your day with Harry?" Amber asked as Deliah walked in the door.

" Oh, I forgot you didn't have work today... It was okay I guess," Deliah said.

" Did something go wrong?" Amber asked.

" I forgot his name.. Nick? I think. He showed up," Deliah said.

Springtrap laughed as he came into the room," Wow, you really called him that".

" Well, It's his name. He's not my dad," Deliah said.

" He needs to just give up," Amber said.

" Hey Deliah, you wanna back cookies with me?" Springtrap asked.

" Not really..." Deliah said.

" Well guess what? I already made them," Springtrap said.

Amber laughed," And what if she said yes? Can I have one?".

" Sure, Deliah can't eat them all on her own," Springtrap said.

" Is that a challenge?!" Deliah yelled.

" Please don't..." Amber said.

" Fine... I won't..."
