I hope you guys are ready for this one.
I twirled around like a princess and giggled while checking my reflection in mirror. I wasn't looking that bad, in fact I was confident I could beat any girl with my appearance right now.
"How do I look?" I glanced at my mother and twirled again "Scratch that I know I'm beautiful" I flipped my hair dramatically and she shook her head.
"Ji Sun Hee" she stand up and came to me with a smile on her face "You're going to a dance class, not to impress your friend" she said, sarcastically and I pouted.
"If you and dad can end up together then so can I and Wook" I told her and brushed my hair back, checking my reflection again in the mirror.
"Sun Hee" she turned me around and looked me in the eye seriously "You're in love with the idea of being in love. You're not in love yet." She brushed back my hair and smiled "I don't want your heart to be broken by Wook. Don't expect much" she said and I sighed, nodding my head.
Wook was my High school friend and had been my crush for an year now. I was crazy about him and since my father and mother were high school sweethearts, I had a huge expectation from my story. That I would also fall in love and get married to my High school sweetheart, that is Wook.
My mother was pretty concerned about it because according to her, life wasn't all about happy endings and I might get heart broken in this period of time but I could care less. Life was all about risks and I was expecting something which clearly lead to disappointment in most of the cases.
So I was somewhat prepared or that was what I thought.
Wearing a nude lipstick and after brushing my hair one last time, I was ready to go. I was going to confess him and he was going to say Yes. Be confident Sun Hee. He'll say yes.
I've heard somewhere that thinking about positive things brings positive results. Let's just hope it would be true in my case too because I've been trying to remain positive for a week now."Fighting" I whispered under my breath and entered into the large building where he took dance classes. I kept consoling myself and repeating the mantra 'He'll say yes' but something was wrong. I felt this weird feeling when I walked towards Wook who was talking to his friends. They must have taken a break from the class.
"Hey" He beamed when saw me and started waving his hand. I chuckled and waved back shyly as I walked to him. I bowed to his other friends and they left us there.
"Are you tired?" I asked, wiping his forehead with a handkerchief and he smiled, shaking his head.
"Sun Hee" he held my hand and grinned "You know you're my friend and how important you're for me. Right?" he asked and I smiled, nodding my head. He gave me a small smile and opened his mouth to say something when a voice stopped our conversation. Someone was talking so loudly that I wanted to beat this person's ass right away.
"Wook" the same voice called out and he gave me an apologetic look before walking past my side while I scoffed in annoyance. Way to ruin moment.
I stood there like a fool while he talked with his friends. I could hear their loud voices, they were talking about someone and how great dancer he was. Apparently whoever he was, he was an SM trainee and was here to meet them.
"Come on" Wook dragged me with others to practice hall and I followed unwillingly. I took a glance at the guy everyone was talking about and rolled my eyes. Because of him Wook couldn't complete his words.
"Why are we here?" I asked in a small voice and he glanced at me.
"He's Kim Jongin" he told me. So? "He's trained in ballet, hip hop and Jazz. We're lucky he decided to visit us. He's a trainee at SM" he explained and I forced a smile.
