Prologue

It was early 2004, two mysterious beings had moved back to Forks, Washington. They moved into a two story house just on the outskirts of the town. Elisabeta and her brother Vladimir, were hoping that they would be able to call Forks their home. They spent centuries looking for the right place, so that they could live in peace.
 
"Lisa, I've enrolled us to Forks High. We start tomorrow" Vlad spoke to his sister, who was unpacking her things into her room.
 
"Okay, once I'm done here i'm going for a walk and see if anything has change" She replied. It didn't take her long to pack everything away, and in seconds the woman sped off to the forest.
 
Not to far ahead, a group of people were hunting. They stopped, when they felt an unfamiliar presence. Using their sharp eye sight, their golden eyes focused on a woman, who was walking near them. The blonde leader looked at the others in worry and curiousity. The group decided to investigate, and carefully moved towards the woman.
 
As Elisabeta was walking, she heard a twig snap up ahead. Snapping her head in the direction of the noise, her now red eyes focused on a group of people. They all had skin as white as snow, golden eyes and the woman could tell from their scent that they weren't human. Elisabeta snarled at them, showing her fangs.
 
"We mean you no harm, we only wish to know who you are" The blonde leader spoke up, raising his hands in defence. The woman didn't stand down, but before she could say anything, her brother, who felt her anger, suddenly appeared beside her. He too bared his fangs, his dark eyes now an angry shade of red.
 
"Who are you? What do you want?" Vlad asked. The vampires in front of the two noticed his thick Romanian accent.
 
"My name is Carlisle Cullen, this is my wife, Esme. And this is my son and daughter, Rosalie and Emmet. Again we mean you no harm. Could you tell us your names" Carlisle replied. Elisabeta looked to her brother cautiously, both of them putting their fangs away.
 
"My name is Vladimir Dracul, and this is my sister Elisabeta" Vlad responded, moving closer to his sister in a protective manner.
 
"If you wouldn't mind, we could go to our house and talk, get to know each other" Esme suggested with a soft smile. The female Dracul became less tense, her eyes went back to her blue ones. The siblings agreed hesitantly, and followed the group to their home.
 
That was how the Cullen's/Hale's met the Dracul siblings. The family were shocked to know that there were a different kind of vampire. The twins told the family about their past, even though it was painful to relive. Not long after, Carlisle introduced them to the vegetarian diet. The twins were very hesitant about the change, but the twins remembered the treaty, so they agreed to the change.
 
During their time in Forks, the twins got really close with two members of the family. Vlad took quite the liking to Alice, while Elisabeta took a liking to Jasper. It didn't take long for the two pairs to realise that they were mates, which was a huge relief to Vlad and Elisabeta, who had been looking for their mates for centuries.
