Chapter 1

Parking in the school parking lot, the Dracul twins got out of Elisabeta's black 67' chevy impala. And like always, everyone's eyes turned to them.

When the two first arrived at the school, everyone was amazed by their beauty. They were like the Cullen's/Hale's, but the two sported black hair, very pale skin, sharp features. Vlad had dark brown eyes, while Elisabeta had crystal blue eyes.

The woman rolled her eyes at the nosy humans, but a loving smile was replaced. Her striking blue eyes met with the golden eyes of her mate. The twins quickly walked over to the group, both going to their mates.

"Salut iubirea mea" she purred into his ear, making Jasper wrap his arms around her waist tightly. The woman's smirk widened and quickly attached her lips to his. The two shared a heated kiss, but they were interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

"Can you not make out with my sister in front of me" Vlad groaned, making Alice lightly smack his chest.

"Like you're one to talk, brother" she spoke back, causing him to roll his eyes and the others to laugh. When the bell went, the group seperated and left to their classes. Jasper and Elisabeta had all their classes together, their first class being History.

Sitting at the back, Jasper draped his arm around his mates shoulders. Their teacher, Mr Norris walked in and stood in front of the class.

"Okay class, today we are starting on a new topic. Who here has heard of Vlad the Impaler and Captain Elisabeta Dracul?" He asked. Elisabeta snapped her head in his direction, a wicked smirk now present on her face. Instantly, the woman raised her hand up and almost laughed when seeing as she was the only one.

"Ah Miss Davis, what can you tell me about them?" The teacher asked.

"Vlad and Elisabeta Dracul were born in 1431 in Romania. They were the prince and princess of Wallachia. In 1448, Vlad became the ruler of Wallachia, while Elisabeta became his second in command and captain of his army. He was known as one of the greatest rulers in history, even with his method of punishing his enemies. Elisabeta too, was feared by many as she also used the same method of punishment. The two were known to be unstoppable during their times in battle" everyone's mouths dropped, as they listened to the woman. Jasper on the other hand sat back with a small knowing smile on his face. Seeing as that Jasper is her mate, Elisabeta told him of her past which she found really hard to do. But thankfully, that didn't scare Jasper off.

"Th-thank you, Miss Davis" the teacher stuttered in amazement, then continued with the class. Elisabeta sat back in her seat, feeling somewhat proud of herself but also feeling a sense of pain from the memories.

"It's okay Darlin, you're okay" Jasper whispered calmly, making the girl calm down quickly.

As the day went on, it was eventually lunch time. In the cafeteria, the new girl, Bella Swan was sitting with her new friends. As the group were talking, Bella's attention soon went onto the group of people that were making their way inside.

"Who are they?" she asked the girls, who then turned to see who she was looking at.

"The Cullen's and Davis' " Angela replied with a shy smile, while Jessica continued.

"They're, um....Mr and Mrs Cullen's foster kids. They moved down here from Alaska a few years ago. While the Davis twins moved here from Romania at the beginning of last year" Jessica said.

"They kind of keep to themselves" Angela stated.

"Yeah, 'cause they're all together. Like together, together" the first couple walked in, making Jessica lower her voice.

"The blonde girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett. They're like a thing, I'm not even sure that's legal" Jessica scoffed. Rosalie and Emmet smiled at each other, hearing the girls words.

"Jess, they're not actually related" Angela pointed out.

"Yeah, but they live together....it's weird. And, okay....the little dark haired girl is Alice, she's really weird. And, she's with Vlad who looks like he hate's everyone" Jessica pointed, making Bella look at the brother then to the girl behind him.

"That's Elizabeth, she looks like she wants to kill everyone and is possibly the scariest person anyone has met. She's with Jasper, who looks like he's in pain. The only time we see either of them smile, is when they're together" Elisabeta, who heard the girl, almost laughed making her look at Jasper to see him smiling slightly.

"Dr. Cullen is like this foster dad-slash-match maker" Jessica said.

"Maybe they'll adopt me" Angela sighed dreamily. Bella then focused on the last person to walk in.

"Who's he?" she asked, obviously entranced by him.

"That's Edward Cullen, he's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently nobody here is good enough for him. Like i care, you know" Jessica said, although it was obvious that she did care.

Bella turned her head to their table, and continued to stare. Mainly at Edward. Elisabeta, who was talking to Jasper, suddenly turned to the new girl who was staring at them.

"If that blood bag keeps staring, i'm going to drain her dry" the girl spoke darkly, feeling her mouth water from the sweet scent of the girls blood. She could feel her fangs coming through and her eyes were almost black with hunger. But a hand quickly latched onto hers, and a sense of calm flowed through her body. Closing her eyes and opening them again, her eyes were back to normal. Turning towards her mate, she rested her head in the crook of his neck.

"Thank you, my love" she whispered, as she felt Jasper play with her hair.

"You're welcome, sweetheart"
