Chapter 10

To say that Elisabeta was surprised would be an understatement. Apparently there is an army of newborn vampires, but no-one knew who was behind it. It took a while for Elisabeta to get used to it all, especially with how much everyone changed.

The woman loved Jasper's new hair, it gives her more reason to pull it. She also found out that the family are somewhat friends with Bella and her human friends. Some furniture was broken, even the piano didn't make it.

Elisabeta felt like herself again, which made her very happy. Happy enough to help Jasper with the shapeshifters. Edward had just arrived at the house with Bella, and walked towards his family. Bella saw that Elisabeta was awake, and smiled slightly. The swan girl slowly walked up to the woman, gaining her attention.
 
"It's good to see you're awake" Bella said awkwardly, making the female Dracul want to roll her eyes at the girl but refrained.
 
"Thanks. I see James didn't get to you" She replied, not really knowing what to say. Everyone watched in amazement, as Elisabeta spoke to Bella without a scowl on her face. Edward, Vlad and Jasper were more surprised because her thoughts and feelings weren't full of anger and hatred. Well, less than usual.
 

"Yeah, i wanted to thank you for...protecting me. If it weren't for you, i would probably be dead. So...thank you" Hearing her words shocked Elisabeta, and what shocked everyone even more was when they saw a small but genuine smile appear on her face.
 
"You're....welcome" she said, then quickly her face changed and she cleared her throat as if she didn't just smile at a human. The other's laughed at the girl, making her playfully glare at them as she walked towards Jasper. Bella felt happy that Elisabeta seemed to be warming up to her now.
 
"That's the least hostile I've ever seen you when around Bella" Jasper spoke, gaining an elbow to the ribs.
 
"Don't make me throw you into tree" she grumbled, which Jasper found adorable.
 
"Sorry, Ma'am" he drawled, making Elisabeta weak at the knees. Rolling her eyes, the woman saw a pack of wolves appear along the line of trees.
 
"They don't trust us enough to be in their human form" Elisabeta said, looking towards Carlisle.
 
"They came, that's all that matters. Will you mind translating?" the leader asked the woman, who nodded her head.
 
"Welcome, Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them" the black wolf looked towards Elisabeta, and her him talking in her mind.
 
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us" she said, making Carlisle speak up.
 
"They're a great deal stronger than us, because the human blood still lingers in their tissue. Although, with Vlad and Elisabeta who have been around for five centuries, the newborns are as strong as they are. Our kind is never more physically powerful, then in our first several months in this live" Jasper spoke up next, moving away from Elisabeta.
 
"Carlisle's right, that's why they're created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. But no human army could stand against them. Now the two most important things to remember are, first, never let their arms around you, they'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose"
 
Emmet was the first one to fight Jasper, sadly he lost, which he definitely didn't like. Elisabeta found it hot how Jasper effortlessly smashed Emmett to the ground, which didn't go unnoticed by the blonde major. After everyone else fought each other, Vlad and Elisabeta were next to fight each other.
 
"Ready, brother?" Elisabeta snickered, as her brother smirked back at her.
 
"I was born ready, sister" within a blink of an eye, his sister had attacked. Her hand wrapped around his throat, and threw him over her shoulder, making him smash into a tree.
 
"I thought you said you were ready. Or are you too old?" the woman teased, gaining smiles from her family. Even the wolves were amused. Vlad growled and ran at his sister with lightning speed, and sent her backwards. But she just graciously landed on her feet, and smirked at her brother. That's when the two ran at each other, but before Vlad could tackle her, Elisabeta beat him to it and smashed him on the ground. When he didn't get up, the woman smirked in victory.
 
"You wonder why i was the one in all the battle's, and you just sat on your throne yelling at people" Elisabeta teased, making Vlad roll his eyes with a smile. Jasper had never seen her fight before, but he was very impressed.
 
"You up to fightn' me, Darlin?" the blonde asked. The woman looked at her mate with a spark of mischief.
 
"Only if you are, Major" she said, walking up to him. Quickly Jasper went to hit her, but she moved out the way quickly. He went to grab her, but she flipped over him, catching him by surprise. The two fought, each time Jasper missed. Until he grabbed her, and started to lean in. But before he could kiss her, the woman shoved him away and disappeared. The major looked around, but couldn't see her. Suddenly, he felt someone jump on his back, making him turn to see his fiancé grinning at him cheekily. She gave him a quick peck, and jumped off his back.
 
"You never cease to amaze me, Darlin" Jasper purred into her ear, making a shiver run down Elisabeta's spine.
 
"Te iubesc, Jas"
 
"I love you too, Lisa"
