Another tiny chapter. Ugh, I swear I'd make them longer if it didn't disturb the weird flow that I have. To anyone who celebrates, happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all of you and the endless support you've given me.

Also, since we're nearing the end, leave some fun questions for me if you have them! I'll answer them on the final author's note. Love you guys. -Rae

Seeing all of Simon's base preparing for such a big operation was breathtaking. Every henchman was dressed and prepared for chaos.

Over the next hour and a half, Daija, Simon and the rest of the team helped finalize prep, then they went over their designated spots where to meet up later. She couldn't believe it. When she was younger and full of her father's hopeful, but false words, she always thought she'd be the one to save the city.

Who would've known that she'd be watching it burn tonight?

"While everyone is extremely excited to wreak havoc, please remember that the party starts promptly at eleven o'clock," Wylan said as he put on his jacket.

Austin smiled as he played with an unarmed miniature explosive in his hand. "Nothing like a good drink after raising hell."

"Oh, my god, Austin's drinking tonight? I'm so not taking care of you if you get stupid drunk," Luca scoffed.

"Someone's going to have to take care of me, because I'm getting stupid drunk," Tony laughed.

"You know what? Fair. I got you."

"I'm just looking forward to eating some good food and dancing all damn night," Adrienne said as she put her hair into a ponytail.

Beside her, Violet smiled and finished putting her hair into a bun. "Same here."

"I'm also looking forward to food," Simon said.

Daija laughed, "That's nothing new." She then faced Adrienne and asked, "Hey, do you have my jacket? I handed it to you because you offered to get it cleaned, remember?"

"Oh, yeah, that's right. It was covered in Fiona's blood. It's in the dressing room down the hall. I forgot to let you know. Sorry about that," She told her as she gestured down the hallway.

"It's no problem. Great. I'll catch you guys in a few minutes."

"No problem. We're wrapping some things up, so just meet us near the gate," Austin said.

"Alright."

Daija turned on her heel and started walking towards the dressing room. She slowed her steps and pulled out her phone when she felt it buzz in her pocket.

Aunt Celia: I'm relieved that you moved out here and away from the madness. It's absolutely insane downtown right now. I can't believe the heroes. It's sickening. Ivan and I couldn't believe what we watched.

Me: I'm happy, too. Like I said to you before, there's a bit more that we need to talk about. Therefore, we'll be on the same page.

Aunt Celia: Sweetheart, take your time. It seems so heavy, and I know you need some time to adjust. How about you focus on unpacking in a timely manner so you can show me your new apartment?

Of course she wants to see the new place. She laughed to herself before typing another reply.

Me: That sounds good. Again, thank you for understanding.

Aunt Celia: Thank you for fighting. I love you, Daija. I'm not sure what you're doing tonight, but please be careful. Ivan and I are getting takeout and watching movies.
