I opened my eyes as excitement bubbled inside of my body. The feeling of Christmas cheer filling my insides and bringing out the giddy child from within. Looking to my side, Nik was already smiling at me. There was a huge argument over who would sleep beside me for Christmas Eve and Nik had won all of the challenges. Rock, paper, Scissors against Finn, thumb wrestling against Kol and Elijah had decided to just back down, not wanting to be involved in the odd challenges. But I had promised him that I would sleep next to him tonight.
