One of the best things about Christmas has always been the scents associated with Christmas. Pine Trees and Fresh Snow, Ham/Turkey dinner cooking followed by the scent of freshly baked cookies fro Santa. Gingerbread, Chocolate Chip or maybe even some Sugar Cookies.
That was the case for the Mikaelson Manor. The house filling with the various smells of freshly baked cookies as our dear Frankie prepared for the Christmas to share.
"Frankie? Love, what are you doing?" I looked up to see Nik coming in, rubbing his eyes of sleep. I placed the frosting bag down as Nik placed his chin on my shoulder in a sleepy daze. "Frankie, it's late." He whined.
"We forgot to make cookies for Santa." I told him as I turned my head to him. He sighed.
"Santa isn't real, love. Only a Legend to tell the kiddies." He mumbled. I let out a laugh and lifted a jam cookie to his mouth. Nik didn't even argue, taking a bite of the cookie and groaning at the flavor.
