Okay so I really thought Mariano would end up with Mirabel after he asked if Mirabel was okay on the day of the proposal I started to ship them buuuut Mirabel is 15 in the movie and I dont get to find how old is Mariano ._. So this ship is going to happen after some years

Once the whole family Madrigal was reunited again in the casita, a reunion full of hugs and words of affection. Mirabel was happy to see that everyone was alright and how they welcomed her uncle Bruno, how Luisa understood that it is okay to ask for help and not carry everything herself, how Isabela understood that it is okay to be herself and not everything must be perfect.

Mirabel watched everyone enjoy themselves building la casita but realized that Mariano was away from everyone watching how Isabela continued to give new colors to her dress, Mirabel decided to approached him

-Hey Mariano why so blue?- she asked
-I just have so much love inside- he replied a little sad

Isabela's rejection affected him but he admitted that he did not love her that way either since he felt pressured by his mother as he was at an age when he should already be committed to someone

-Hey it's alright I'm sure you'll find someone who will see how great you are and you guys will do great together...- said Mirabel seating next to him, Mariano looked at her and give her a small smile -You really know how to reach people...I wish I can be as positive and brave like you I really admire everything you did for your family- he said looking at the familia Madrigal's house now rebuild looking great as how it used to be

Mirabel didn't want to see him sad so she thought about Dolores
-You know I have this cousin too...have you met Dolores?- she said to calling Mariano's attention
-Okay I take it from here, goodbye!!- said Dolores coming out of nowhere taking Mariano's hands in hers

Mirabel let them be and went with Isabela as they watched Mariano and Dolores talking and getting along so well that they made a High five because they thought they were being great matchmakers
-Let's get married!!- said Mariano exited
-Slow down...- said Dolores not so sure

After that, Mirabel put the door knob and the house was the same magic casita as before and the family recovered their gifts back.
The Madrigal family spent quiet years and many members of the family had high expectations in the new couple that were Mariano and Dolores but suddenly Dolores calmly announced that after five years and a half that they were no longer together, this worried Mirabel because she believed that they somehow made the perfect couple because the chemistry was visible between them since that time they finished la casita.

Mirabel went to see Dolores in her room, knocked on the door announcing her presence and decided to enter, seeing Dolores calmly reading a book on her bed

-Hey Dolores...how are you doing?- said Mirabel seating next to her in her bed

-Aww you guys looked like you got great chemistry and Mariano is great guy, he looks like someone very attentive, I mean you saw how he cared for someone like me when I hit my head on the table the day he was going to propose to Isabela, that was really nice from him...have you guys tried to talk it out?- said Mirabel trying to convince Dolores to at least reconsider it

-You guys are the same...- said Dolores with a little smile

-hmm? Who?- said Mirabel

-You and Mariano, he also talks a lot about you...- said Dolores smiling - we have great communication I mean he and I are still friends and maybe the thing between us would have worked if it weren't for the fact that I'm not quite the person he seems to be in love with-

-Oh...so he already has someone he loves...- said Mirabel

Mirabel looked down thoughtfully, she believed that she had managed to create the perfect couple and that way Mariano would not feel lonely and sad anymore

-Yeah- said Dolores with a smile and putting her hand in her ear as if trying to hear better something in the distance -Oh and he wants tell this person how he feels...maybe in one of this days he will be around here for that- she said a little exited

-Wait! Does that means it's someone from the family?!- said Mirabel surprised thinking about who in the family is whom Mariano had fallen in love with
