I like the idea of Dolores being a supportive cousing for Mirabel at least in this love struggle

After the show of excitement from the casita, Mirabel decided that if there was anyone who knew something, it was Dolores, since nothing went unnoticed before her ears. There was some time before dinner so she thought there was enough time to talk with Dolores.

-Dolores? I know you can hear me, if you know something I would love you to fill me in- said Mirabel going upstairs but finding uncle Bruno in her way, he was coming out of his room while brushing the sand off his clothes

-Oh! tío Bruno great, you can help me!!- she said reaching up to him -there's something I want to know and maybe your gift will help me out-

-What do you mean?...did something happen?- said Bruno a little worried
-Nothing bad, it's just that I'm worried about someone and I want this person to be happy but I don't know how to help him and maybe your gift can help me with that tío- she said with a smile but before Bruno could ask anything, Dolores appeared with her arms crossed over her chest as if she was judging Mirabel idea

-Oh hey Dolores I was about to ask you-...wait you are not Dolores are you? Camilo?- said Mirabel looking how the shape of Dolores was changing showing an smiling Camilo -Ay Camilo for a moment I thought you were Dolores... I really need to talk to her-

-It's your lucky day, she just sent me to get you, she wants to talk with you in her room- said Camilo with a smile -I thought you would tell me what was happening but you recognized me...how did you do that?-

-You did the same thing last time you wanted to have seconds..besides casita was about to hit you with the door- said Mirabel pointing at the door behind Camilo that was now closing itself

-Casita seems to always be on your side Mirabel- said Camilo looking at the door that was now closed -anyways go with Dolores she is waiting for you-

-Alright thanks- she said before she stopped looking back at her tío -Oh wait uncle Bruno stay close so I can talk to you later- said Mirabel while walking away towards Dolores room

-Sure Mirabel- said uncle Bruno still trying to get the sand off his clothes

When Mirabel got to Dolores room she knocked at the door and let herself in -Hey Dolores- she said seating next to Dolores in her bed
-Hey Mirabel...I heard someone has a date tomorrow~- said Dolores smiling excited
-Do you agree with that? - Mirabel said looking worried at Dolores
-Of course I do! As I told you, the thing between Mariano and I did not work but that does not mean that I'm against his happiness -said Dolores smiling -Besides I told you it wasn't me the person he was in love with~-

To which Mirabel came to the surprising conclusion...it was her, she was the person that Mariano loved.

-But...that can't be...I don't have any gift! I am not that speci-...- before she could finish that sentence, Dolores covered her mouth with her hand, she was not going to allow Mirabel to speak that way about herself
-Mirabel look at me, gift or not you helped us all when things got tough...you know? Both Mariano and I see you as the heroine of the town who saved the magic of the Madrigal family. Also, at first I thought that he only felt admiration for you...but when I saw how his eyes shone when he talked about you, I understood that it was not me who would be the light of his eyes- said Dolores with a bright smile looking Mirabel in the eyes

-But how did he fall in love with me? All I did was nothing but make a fool of myself in Isabela's marriage proposal, and also I really want him to find someone who will make him happy- Mirabel said looking at the ground

-And you haven't thought that maybe that someone could be you? - Dolores asked leaning on Mirabel -Hey ... it's fine if you don't feel love for him but at least give it a chance to that date that you guys will have, maybe you will get to like him- said Dolores smiling at Mirabel

-The truth is that I already like him...- Mirabel said with a little blush -He is really kind, and both he and I want to make our families proud of us and I really want him to be happy but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that-

-Then it's done, go to that date, enjoy each others company and get to know each other better and after that you decide what to do....now let's go grandma says dinner is ready- said Dolores with a warm smile walking with Mirabel out of the room.
