-Oh Cariño...I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you or make you mad...I just wanted what was best for you- she said looking ashamed reaching for her son
-Well I can say she is what's best for me, she makes me happy just by existing and being there for me- said Mariano letting his mother hug him and his mother understood at that moment that Mirabel managed to take the definitive place in the heart of her son.
-Mariano...come with me, there is something I want to give you- his mother said leading the way out of her son's room
They arrived at La señora Guzman's room and she entered letting her son pass and indicated him to sit on the small armchair in the room. La señora Guzman took the jewelry box that she had on her nightstand and opening it, she took out a golden chain necklace that had in the middle the figure of a golden butterfly -I want you to give this to Mirabel apart from the ring- she said, handing over the necklace in her son's hands -... it was a gift from your father, he told me that when you find the person you would give everything for, I should give it to you- she said smiling warmly at her son who was looking at her surprised -I really want you to be happy my boy-
Mariano got up from his place and hugged his mother warmly -I will be happy mom, I promise- he said smiling determined
