Dolores told the grandmother that the Guzman family were on their way to the Madrigal house because Mariano had something important that he wanted to tell the family, in that way, it gave everyone time to prepare for the visits that were on the way

-Welcome to the Madrigal house- said Alma receiving Mrs. Guzman and her son at the entrance, la casita also welcomed them helping them to enter quickly by making Mariano and his mother laugh.

-Gracias, we are glad to be here again- said Mrs. Gusman smiling -My son wants to propose to one of your granddaughters- she said calmly

-Well, I didn't know that he and Dolores were together again- Alma said surprised looking at Mariano

Mariano, standing up from his seat somewhat nervous at the curious glances of the Madrigal family, crouched down and putting one knee on the ground looking in the direction of Mirabel who was looking at him in surprise

Mirabel's father played the piano in the company of his wife while they looked at Mirabel and Mariano chatt while the others danced enjoying each others company

-Oh Mirabel, there's something else I want to give you- Mariano said taking out of his pocket the necklace that his mother gave him in the afternoon -It belonged to my mother...it was a gift from my father to her and she asked me to give it to you- Mariano said helping Mirabel to put on the necklace

-Oh Mariano is beautiful- she said touching the golden butterfly on her chest

-Just like you- he said smiling and inviting her to dance to the rhythm of the music.
