When morning came you started to pack your things, gave your keys back at the reception and continued your journey.
"What is the next stop?" Thoma asked.
"Liyue" Baal answered him. She was holding a map in her hands, which she was looking at constantly.
"Could you please stop looking at that?" Ayaka told her
"Why? Is it bothering you?" she snapped back at her.
"No, but why do you need a map? I know where we have to go, so we'll get there just fine without that thing." Ayaka continued. Baal just sighed, and put away her beloved map.
"Come on guys, don't fight!" you told them. "Let's just keep going!" you tried to cheer them up, and eventually succeeded.
After a few hours of walking, you suddenly saw a beautiful butterfly. You couldn't help but try to catch it, and eventually failed. You tried to catch it countless times, until you were literally running after it. Thoma saw your manouver, and started to go after you.
"Y/N! Don't go that way! We need to stay on the road!" he said, worry in his voice. But you didn't hear him.
Ayaka and Baal also saw that you were going in the wrong direction, and started to run after you as well. Now you were chasing a butterfly, Thoma was chasing you, and the other two were chasing Thoma.
"Wait up!" they yelled.
After some running, you finally gave up on trying to catch the butterfly, and looked around you. And realized you were lost. The others caught up to you eventually, and a scholding came after that.
"Why did you run away?" Thoma asked, while gasping for air.
"I saw a butterfly, and I wanted to catch it." you explained.
"But now we're lost!" Baal interrupted your conversation with Thoma.
"Sorry.."
Baal sighed, and took out her map. You looked at it, but couldn't make out anything. You only saw some green here, some blue there, some white and some brown there. It was foreign for you. A few names were written on the map, like Mondstadt or Liyue, but despite these you really couldn't understand anything else.
"We have to go west" Ei stated, and then started to go in a direction.
After about half an hour of walking, you still weren't on the road you ran away from.
"Baal, are you sure we're going in the right direction?" Ayaka asked.
"I am certain" she said.
"Give me that map" Thoma asked, then grabbed the map that the shogun was holding.
"You were holding it upside down this whole time!" he facepalmed. "Come, let's go this way" he said, as he led the way.
After an hour or so you were finally back on track. But it was becoming dark, and Liyue was still far away. You had to camp down.
"Okay so we have two tents for the four of us." you said.
"I'll sleep with Baal" you quickly said. To this, Ayaka and the goddess started to shake their heads at the same time.
"Sorry, but we have already talked about it, and I want to sleep with Ayaka here." Baal said, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"I set up the tents!" Thoma happily said. "Who is going to sleep with who?" he put his hands to his hips, smiling.
"You sleep with Y/N" Ayaka said. Thoma went a little red.
"O-oh, okay!" he smiled, trying to hide his blush. Then he quickly went inside the tent. You went after him.
He was already laying on the mattress that was inside. You slowly sat down next to him, and then layed down. Your backs were facing each other, and you were both in silence. Just silence..
"Thank you" you suddenly said.
"For what?"
"For yesterday. I really liked it." you blushed to yourself. Your heart was racing, it was like it wanted to come out of your chest.
Suddenly, one pair of arms wrapped around you. It was Thoma's. Now you really started to blush, but soon gave in to the warm sensation of his arms around your stomach, and closed your eyes. And you just layed there in silence, until you both fell asleep..
