Liyue was a beautiful city. Maybe even better than Mondstadt, but honestly, you just couldn't compare the two.
You walked down the long roads while looking at the beatifully built houses. You saw a lot of flowers as well. Some kids were running up and down, and you couldn't help but smile. The atmosphere was so good.
Until you saw something familiar. More like someone.
He had long, elegant, brown hair, and he was wearing clothes in the same colour. He was really tall, even taller than a certain someone called Thoma.
But he difinietly wasn't as charming as your blonde friend. You couldn't understand why some girls who were standing near him had hearts all over their heads.
"Hey, that's him" Baal said. Your face had shock written all over it. You didn't wanna meet him. You were scared.
"Come on, let's go, before he goes away!" she said as she grabbed your hand and started to drag you towards the tall male.
"Execuse us! Morax!" Baal said. The called male turned around quickly in shock. No one calls him that nowadays.
"Who are you?" he asked. "And why are you calling me Morax?" he asked, trying to pretend he doesn't know anything. Then, he looked at you. Now he had shock written all over his face.
"Y/N? Is that you?" he asked as he stepped closer. "I thought... I thought you died" he said with tears in his eyes. He then hugged you. He hugged you thighly.
"Can you imagine how much I-" he stopped, as he looked into your scared eyes. He held your face softly.
"Do you not remember me?" he asked. You shook your head then looked down.
"She lost her memories." Ei explained.
"Is that so?" Morax looked up, now a little happier. "Then let's go, I think I have some explaining to do."
The three of you walked into a beautiful house. And it wasn't only gorgeous on the outside, the inside looked just as good as the outside.
"Please take a seat" morax pointed at two chairs. You seated yourselves, and so did the brown haired male.
"So, please tell me, do you really not remember anything?" he asked as he looked deeply into your eyes.
"Only a few things"
"And what are those?"
"Now I actually remember most of the things of who I've been, but it's still not really clear.. Like, why I was kicked out from the seven. By you"
Morax looked down. He took a deap breath.
"Let me tell you everything then" he started. "Do you remember the Great War? You took part in it, too."
"Yeah, I had a dream about it. That's the reason I still know how to use my powers" you said.
"Then let me continue. You were fighting for an island called 'Tyre', also known as 'Black Paradise'. It is called that for a certain reason. At first there's nothing wrong with the small island, and it seems normal. But it has a secret, which makes it dark and scary. Every night at midnight the sky turns black there for three hours. At that time, the ghosts of the soldiers that died in the Great War come out and plant a black narcissus near the river that flows through the island. They say they do it for the goddess that saved them. " Morax stopped for a minute. He looked at you.
"That goddess was you. You were the one that fought for the lives of cursed people, who should not have been saved. They were supposed to die in the war, since they were one of the reasons why it took place. They were too strong and cruel. All of them had a black scar on their backs, which was in the form of a Narcissus. No one knows why though. After the war was over, you came back to us to take your deserved place with the Seven. You fought the hardest battle, since your allies were strong, a lot of enemies went after you. Strong ones. But we still couldn't let you in. You committed a sin you shouldn't have. "
"But why is it a sin to save people?" you asked, not understanding the situation.
"They were not people. They were objects, that were used to kill and slaughter people."
You looked down. You felt bad. And not for the 'sin' you committed, but for those who were called monsters, objects, killers. They were not. You got to know them as good people. They were the ones that raised you up. Tyre was your home town, and that was where your family once lived.
Suddenly, you shot your head up in shock and stood up.
"I remember. I remember everything." you looked at the table. Tears were flowing down your face. You then looked at Morax with anger in your eyes.
"I was protecting my family. My hometown, from YOU. You were the reason my people died, and not only them, but all the other innocent people who didn't do anything. We were once killing machines. We might have been that. But that was centuries ago." you became cold suddenly."And you still wanted to kill us. You wanted to kill us for our bad reputation, so you started a war we didn't wanna be part of"
Morax looked at you in shock. You looked at up at him, and then smiled.
"So, who are the real murderers now?"
