Rylo , Darticus exclaimed . Today morning I received a message from the North . They want us to to come there as soon as possible . The snow arrives in a months time . Maybe sooner

How many men ? a hundred . Asks Rylo

Darticus laughs again .

No Rylo , I travel alone .

I don't understand , says Rylo in shock . You intend to travel alone ?

Travel alone to the north . Rylo reconfirms

Yes , Darticus attests his confirmation

At least take uncle and dozen of our men , Brother . Says Rylo

No Rylo , this i do alone .

The North , they are not like us . They are very dangerous . They may cause you harm Brother .

Uncle says , the oracle has mentioned that I need to do this alone . And in over a century no one has contradicted the statement of the oracle with actions .

The oracle has said , replies Rylo sarcastically

The oracle does not concern us brother , he adds further

The oracle maintains their affairs only in the kingdom .

Its the ways of the Oracle brother , he says to Rylo . And it is better i follow it and bring no harm to us

There was Silence

And Finally

The oracle , Rylo snuffed

The Oracle , Said Darticus

The next day

Darticus and Rylo spar in the grounds . A huge ground it was capable to fit in thousands . Now it was empty barring the two of them . Weirding the best steel and armour the two men got into the thick of things . Darticus towered over Rylo . But Rylo was so much skilled and agile , it was going to be a tough competition
Both men clank their shields to begin the fight as their uncle watches on .
The first blow is given by Darticus and the shield of Rylo blocking it . A powerful blow at that , it pushed Rylo a few inches back
That was quick , he remarked . Rylo then dodges continuous blows from Darticus and then congers it with a smashing blow . Now Darticus moves a few inches back from the powerful thud .
Evenly matched , the uncle smiles on
The fight goes on , with the sun coming in full force
Rylo zips and zaps ,through his left to the right and pierces through the arm of Darticus
What have you done ? Shouts Darticus to Rylo . This isn't war . He remarks
I made a mistake Cheif . Rylo responds
That was no mistake . Said Darticus and threw his shield on the ground .
Rylo stood still
I'm sorry Brother , he apologised
An Apology , ? an apology is not acceptable
Is this about the oak again ? Asked Darticus
No , it's not about the oak .it's about prosperity . Replied Rylo
We are prosperous enough . Replied Darticus
Look at our houses , it is thatches compared to that of the Algreid .
The water is reducing every year . We are not faring at all
Darticus slowly responds ,
The good times will come brother , we will be great again .Now we have the chaos to concentrate on . This is the time to keep ourselves safe
War ? What war . Rylo looked around to see if his uncle was still around . He was not to be seen in the vicinity
These old have us convinced that the war is imminent . They use as pawns .
That's what you have misunderstood . Rylo . The elders and wise . They always know what has to be done .
Rylo stood there in anger .
He then threw his shield on the ground and left .
Darticus watched Rylo leave .
He then picks up his shield and starts to practice .

The next couple of weeks go by , With Darticus taking horse riding practice and Sword fighting everyday from dawn to dusk . Rylo stays at home , only participating in the horse practices . He does not enter the Sword fighting arena . 

Meanwhile , Rylo's father has recovered , but remains to stay home 

The time finally comes for Darticus to take his voyage to the north . He packs only the necessary items . His horse has been well trained to travel long distances . 

A long , arduous journey awaits Darticus
