Part 1. Hello.

He comes in to the room,
Stares at the woman from a far.
He greets the others first,
Taking his sweet time with each
Saving the best for last.
He comes up to her
Takes a deep breath and says " hello."
Only this time hello isn't merely hello.
It's desire, affection, the urge to combust at the sight and touch of this beautiful being.
He tries to linger, adding a few words that others didn't get
Like
"how are you?"
But what he means to say is this.
I made this journey solely for this moment
Just to say hello.
Only he can't linger for long,
He can't make his heart known.
So he sits
So many words still lingering in his mind.
