Chapter 16: S-Rank Gate!

Things have been going well as far as Izuku is concerned as last week he was able to release some of his frustration on his former childhood friend/ bully and from what he had heard Katsuki had finally admitted that he needed help which while it was shocking it was just his first step to proving to everyone that he could be a good hero as well.

His redemption was still a long and demanding task that will require him to put effort into changing because there was no point in attending Therapist if he returned back to what he used to be.

Although Izuku doubted that he would ever have the same relationship with Katsuki like they were before quirks appeared. Many people told him to simply forgive, forget and move forward but Izuku was different he would never forgive nor forget what Katsuki had did to him but he will be civil enough to treat the blonde boy as an acquaintance but as far as moving forward comes he had already done that a lot time ago when he decided to become a hunter instead of being a hero like he always wanted.

"So you want us to raid a C rank mission?" questioned Izuku as he looked at Jinchul who was sitting in front of him. "That is correct, you and Mrs. Cha will be raiding a C rank dungeon near here." said Jinchul as he gave the gate report which included a picture, magical measurement and raiding team which was only both Izuku and Hae-In.

"Hm, it says here that the measurements were shifting constantly meaning the hunter association never really had a good read on the gate." Said Hae-In, noticing the little detail.

"You're very observant, well as far as measurements come the magical energy hasn't increased that much to be called an B rank gate but we're very concerned since this is new for us but if there is anyone we could entrust these tasks of clearing the gate would be the two of you." Said Jinchul explaining what happened.

Izuku frowned, "We're pretty much going blind here but we should be able to handle ourselves properly." Said Izuku as Hae-In couldn't help but to agree.

The black suv car made a stop in front of the location as Izuku opened the car allowing for Hae-In to get out of the car first "I wish you both luck!" Said Jinchul as Izuku gave a small nod before he himself got out of the car.

"So they had everyone evacuate." Said Hae-In as she looked at the deserted houses, obviously the Hunter association had been evacuating civilians once gates became more common to avoid suspicious or anyone trying to enter the gate recklessly not that anybody could enter the gates.

"Well it would be better that way, don't want civilians trying to get in the way of our work." Said Izuku as he let out a small smile as the two walked towards the gate which was guarded by two agents.

The moment the two stepped inside, the gate started fluctuating and red lighting started to release in the air, shocking the two agents as Izuku realized that the measurements were wrong as he forced himself out enough to deliver a final message.

"Call the Chairman immediately the measurements were wron..." Izuku couldn't continue as he was quickly swallowed inside the gate which turned from it's light blue to red color.
