She works hard to fit in the world you want her to have,
Burying her feelings she walks on the path you want her to take,
Why you keep telling her how she should be and how she shouldn't be?
Can't she be who she wants to be?
Is it too much to ask for?
Can't she feel how she wants to feel?
Is it too much for you to accept?
No It's Not Right!
Right,
It's not Right!
She can be who she wants to be!
She has every right to be who she wants to be!
She can feel what she wants to feel!
She has every right to show her emotions!
You know, it's okay for her to smile?
She can be happy when she's happy,
She can be sad when she's sad,
She can be frustrated when she's frustrated,
And you don't get to say, "It's not right!"
