⚘She & Her

She was chaos hidden in calm,
She was in a constant battle with her thoughts,

She found emptiness even while seeing the rainbow,
Moon and Stars never cure her loneliness,

Whispers of the night kept her up,
Kept her up thinking about a lot of things,

And then one day she met her,
Silence in their eyes echoing in their minds,
Nullifying every outside voice,

They appeared as monochrome paintings coming together to those who saw them,
Blending so well together with one another,

In their monochromatic aesthetic,
They saw all the colours hiding in each other's stories,

It was all true when someone said, 'Those with similar pain understand each other better.'

Together they escaped the prison of their minds,
They found the key to each other's hearts,
In each other's company, their soul found peace.
