Elijah's pov
-------------

I sigh as I lean back against the headboard of my bed in my old room. I look down at Angela as she sleeps with a slight frown on her face.

After hearing her scream in pain earlier I literally ran across the house until I saw her on the ground clutching her head.

My heart ached at the sight of her in pain and I immediately wrapped her into my arms, trying my best to comfort her. I panicked when her breathing got slower and that she wasn't responding to me.

After shouting orders to some of the guards that was rushed here, Angela just went limp in my arms and that had my heart raising.

When the family doctor arrived, shortly after I layed her on my bed, he told me that she was going to be okay, which I found odd but didn't question. He only gave me some medication and gave me strict orders to give it to her three times a day, after meals.

A few hours has past and she still hasn't woken up. I stayed by her side and held her hand, worried that something might happen to her again and I didn't want to risk anything.

Right when I was about to fall asleep, I felt her squeeze my hand. I looked towards her, her eyes fluttering open.

She groans and holds onto her head before trying to sit up. I quickly help her sit up straight and give her some space.

A few minutes pass as she slowly adjust to her surroundings. She looks over at me and frowns. "Who are you?"

I freeze. My heart literally sinks into my stomach and my mouth goes dry.

"What?" I whisper in disbelief. "You don't know who I am?" And she looks at me with a confused face, slightly tilting her head to the side.

"No" She answers while shaking her head. She looks around the room. "Where am I?"

"No no no. This can't be happening again."I say to myself before taking her hands in mine and looking straight into her eyes,my heart racing at an extremely fast pace

"Angela please remember me. How could you forget me? I'm Elijah and we-" I stop myself when I catch the side of her lips slightly tug upward.

This little sh-

She bursts out laughing and I let go of her hands, getting of the bed. When she finally sobered up, she got of the bed and walked towards me. But she stumbled while holding her head. I quickly caught her before she could fall and placed her back on the bed.

"I'm sorry for scaring you." She apologizes sheepishly as I send a quick text.

I only nod in return and made sure she was comfortable on the bed. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and a maid entered the room, holding a tray with food.

Angela thanks her, while I glare at her to hurry up and leave. When she finally leaves the room, I look back at Angela. She's giving me a disapproving look while shaking her head. I just shrug and sit next to her while she eats.

"Aren't you going to eat?" She asks me with a frown.

"No, I'll eat something later." I answer.

She sighs before grabbing some of my mother's special potato casserole onto her fork and holding it up to my lips.

I raise an eyebrow at her but she ignores me and and pushes the fork closer to me.

"Eat Elijah." She says. And as I open my mouth to protest against this, she shoves the food into my mouth.

[Flashback]

"Eat Elijah!" Angela says as she holds up a bowl of cereal to me. "You haven't eaten today. And I know this isn't the best dinner but it's the only thing I know how to make." She says while looking down.
