JAKES POV

Jay has been seriously unwell for a few days now.
I don't know what made me turn up and offer to take care of him, but I did and now we're here.

Jay was finally resting - and I couldn't help but take a few minutes to just - be - next to him. My eyes drank in every detail of his face. His dark eyelashes were brushing against his skin, the colour had started to return to his cheeks and his breathing sounded perfectly level and calm.

The light woolen blanket draped over his body showed the outline of every inch his perky body to me, and it made me hard, just imagining what I could and wanted to do to his body.

"If only he knew!" Jake thought to himself, "My crush has turned to desire to pure adoration and love, and I don't think he can even see that!" And it was that thought in particular that made Jake really sad.

He got himself up from the chair he'd plonked himself down into, to lean and gently grab Jay's hand, and lay a soft, chaste kiss on his soft, plump, kissable lips, then I moved out of the room to go to the kitchen - not only to tidy it up, but to prepare the next round of food Jay would need - making sure to close the door behind him.

What Jake didn't realise?

Jay had woken up.

JAYS POV

I'd been laying in my bed, and recognising that my stomach didn't hurt and that my fever was gone, when my senses told me someone else was in my bedroom.

They sighed, I heard movement in a chair before said person gently grabbed my hand, and soft lips laid a chaste kiss on my knuckles.

My heart-rate had picked up so much, I thought it was going to beat out of my chest altogether!
Once I heard the bedroom door close, I opened my eyes. I look around and see my bedroom.

"But how did I get here? Where's the smell?" I thought to myself.

Slowly, the memories of yesterday hit me - Jake turning up, feeding me, cleaning up after me and putting me to bed.

"Could that have been Jake who kissed me? How does he know I have beyond a crush on him?"

I get a funny feeling in my belly, and not knowing exactly what is was, I move to the bathroom as quick as I could.

I get there, and I went to sit but realised, I only needed to pee.
Once I'd done that, I realised I was left with butterflies in my belly! W. T. F?

I hear noise echoing in from the kitchen, and freeze like a deer in headlights.

After hesitating for a few minutes, I decide to head to the kitchen, and see what Jake was up to.
So, I slowly made my way out there, to find Jake with a local radio station on, singing and dancing around my kitchen!
Putting dishes away, and cooking - at the same time!
I couldn't help but to lean against the door frame and watch him, so light on his feet, talented and able to cook? WIFE. ME!

I shook my head - and blushed - when I realised my thought process. And once my brain had snapped back to the present - Jake's sparkling eyes were there to greet me.
