Today miyo and Miri were in a gamble with yumeko and ryota. Honestly you felt a little worried for yumeko and ryota because you knew of sisters reputation when it came to gambling, sure yumeko and ryota had hurt your friends turned lovers but you didn't want them to die.
You were sitting in your room braiding ririka's hair while quietly talking to her about whatever came to mind when miyo called you presumably to tell you about the result of the gamble, considering the fact you did ask to know the results
"(Y/n)?" You heard miyo's voice through the phone "Miri is in the hospital, I got to confident and made a stupid bet"
"W-what? Where are y-you?" You ask to which miyo tells you what hospital she's at, when you get there miyo tells you that luckily the hospital had an antidote and now Miri was just resting
"W-what about you?" You ask miyo as the two of you walk down the white hallways of the hospital towards Miro's room
"What about me?" She asks slightly confused "I'm fine, Miri was the only one who got poisoned"
"I mean this whole thing has probably taken a lot out of you... E-Emotionally I mean" you say before quickly adding on "not that I'm c-calling you w-weak or anything it's just if it was someone like kirari who got p-poisoned I know it would c-completely ruin me. Ah! That m-makes it sound like I d-don't care about M-Miri, don't worry I c-care about her and, and, an-"
You get cut off by miyo giggling softly "don't worry I know what you meant" there was a silence for a couple seconds "yeah your probably right, when we get to her room I'm going to rest my eyes for a bit" to which you nod as miyo slides open the door to miri's room, who's still unconscious
Miyo sits down on a chair facing the hospital bed and closes her eyes quickly falling asleep, while you sit next to miri's sleeping form and gently take her hair down from the buns she's normally got it in, before gently running your fingers through her hair.
