[THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM]

"c'mon bro, you can't sit here and smoke all day" jayb said to kordell, seeing as kordell looked up at him and then back to his blunt

kordell had bearly said two words, he wouldn't speak to jade or kiana at all and honestly it was hurting them, jade had started hanging out with ahki more and more so she was bearly around, and not only was that shit hurting jayb, but it was driving him crazy.

"I ain't never seen this nigga like this, I want my homebody back" jay said as he sighed, seeing as kordell lit up his blunt.

kordell didn't gaf though, he was tired of being blamed for shit when all he did was try to look out for people, he knew he wasn't the nicest but he could tell when something was off.

"holon, I gotta get something" jade said as she walked in with house with ahki, walking upstairs and leaving us downstairs with ahki.

"aye, any of y'all spoke to kiana? she ain't been answering my calls." ahki said, causing kordell to shrug and jayb to walk away.

"damn, y'all dead asfc, what's going on?" ahki said, causing nuchi to suck his teeth.

"nigga can you just stop talking? can't you see we don't fuck with you." nuchi said, causing ahki to chuckle

"kordell how yo arm going? I'm glad my shooter didn't miss when he shot at you." ahki said, causing kordell to raise a eyebrow as he turned to ahki

"I fucking knew it." jayb said, causing kordell to laugh

"yo shooter sure can't disguise his self, but that's all I needed to hear, you want war, you fasho got it." kordell said, laughing to his self.

"yeah igh, kiana or jade already don't believe you, what you gone do?" ahki said, causing me to sigh

"oh they will, and I got my bets on it." kordell said, making sure his words stayed with ahki

all ahki did was laugh, seeing as jade came back downstairs and put back on his nice guy act, waving at kordell and them as he walked out the house with jade.

"we gotta get rid of that nigga, asap, and I know you fucked up bout kiana but you fasho aint getting her back if you keep sitting here like this." jayb said, causing kordell suck his teeth because he knew jayb was right.

"who said I wanted her back?" kordell said, causing jay to side-eye him

"when have you ever acted like this over a female? now nigga be forreal." jay said, causing kordell to sigh

"yeen lying, I miss her like crazy but she just don't believe me, yeah I'm mean, but I just know when some shit don't add up, and what that nigga just said just proved my point" kordell said

"well then let's go, we gone go see kiana first" jayb said, causing kordell to shake his head

"it's been weeks, I was so heated I blocked her, shit she probably don't even wanna talk to a nigga" kordell said

"I would block her too if I found out she was taking another nigga side over me, but bro you just gotta talk it out, forreal." jayb said, causing me to nod.

"igh yo, we gone go over there and see if she answer." kordell said, causing jayb, nuchi, jay, and dallas to nod.

"the door unlocked." kordell said as he twisted kiana doorknob, walking in as he seen the house empty, no kiana.

"you think she might have went out or something?" jay said, causing kordell to nod 'no.'

"with the door unlocked? she don't ever do shit like that, and I don't think nobody else would do that" kordell said as he walked in the house, observing and trying to see if kiana was in the kitchen, upstairs, such n such.

as he walked upstairs, he could see kiana phone on the bed, which was weird because if she had went out, why would she leave her phone

"some shit ain't right, she left her phone upstairs, unlocked, but if she went out, why would she even leave her phone?" kordell said, as he put the peices together

"ay call jade, asap." kordell said, causing jayb to nod as he pulled his phone out, dialing jade as he seen it going straight to voicemail

"the shit went to voicemail" jayb said, finally connecting the dots

"we gotta find that nigga ahki, asap." nuchi said, causing everybody to nod

this was finna be some shit.

"bra, where tf could this nigga go" jay said, causing all of us to sigh

"spin the block one more time" jayb said as he was beginning to get mad and frustrated

"nigga we dun drove on this block three fucking times, we can't track nigga down because we don't have his phone number, I damn sholl aint asking nobody in the neighborhood, and we bearly know that nigga, how the fuck is we gone do this, you can tell that nigga dun took them somewhere" jay said

in all this time kordell was quiet, he was still mad at kiana but he missed her alot, and everytime he seen kibo it reminded him of her, he couldn't do this shit and he felt bad for going weeks without talking to her, this shit was eating him up inside, and not only him, but jayb too, yeah he used to aggravate jade but deep down he actually loved that damn girl.

"this some bullshit.." kordell said as he finally spoke up, running his hands down his face

"I knew I should of killed this nigga when he first popped up, mane this shit don't make no fucking sense, why this shit gotta happen to us, fuck" jayb said, causing jay to sigh.

he hated seeing his brother like this, espically with that being his twin, and nuchi couldn't deal with kordell like this, but in this whole time, dallas was quiet, he was on his phone texting mad fast.

"yo, who is you texting?" jayb said, causing dallas to nod as he put his phone away.

"nobody" dallas answered, causing jayb to side-eye him as he had a feeling, dallas was hiding some.

"you mad quiet, and you been quiet for the past hours" jay said, causing dallas to shrug

"kordell been quiet to, y'all ain't say shit to him" dallas said

"nigga I been quiet because I'm thinking, that ain't got shit to do with why you acting suspicious asfc" kordell said, causing dallas to suck his teeth

"I just don't get how y'all looking for them now when it's been weeks, it's y'all fault for ignoring them damn girls, so this shit ain't fazing me because y'all had it coming, plus y'all to late anyways, he been took them" dallas said, looking away as he didn't mean for the last part to slip out

"the fuck you mean he been took them?" jay said as he stopped the car, side-eying dallas

"shit.." dallas mumbled as he knew he had fucked up

kordell sat there looking at him along with jayb, this was some bullshit.

and what was dallas hiding.
