Runaway | Sun and Moon

Part 3

Sun's POV

I woke up from my dreamless sleep, it being around 5am..

5AM?!
I quickly sat up and started to stress
I never cleaned up from yesterday!
What a mess!
I got up and jumped off the tower
I wonder where Moondrop is actually.
He may be asleep.
Yesterday was eventful..
starting to clean, I kept thinking to myself
I hope Roxane was fixed, Moon messed her up pretty bad, and that's being nice.
Then again I didn't mind Moon breaking her apart, after all he was just saving himself and me.

Okay maybe not me, mostly him, but still.
I finish cleaning as I see a note by the door of the Daycare
I walk over to it, picking it up swiftly

{Note}
{Sunrise, the plaza is shut down for the week for Roxane had a accident most likely practicing for her races, she is in horrible shape and it will probably take a while so no need to stress for the week!}

I smile as I finish reading the note
Finally some peace, I'm not lonely anymore so honestly the kids are just annoying now, I do appreciate being around some of them but the others..
eh
I get hit in the face as the door opens
'Ow!'
I hold my face in small sections at a time before looking up.
Of course out of all the people,
It's Freddy
IT'S ALWAYS HIM.
Whatever, hopefully he doesn't want to stick around for long.
"Ah! Sorry Sunrise! I came to talk to you about something."
Freddy helped me up as he spoke
'Of course, what is it Freddy?'
I ask this as I go to throw some of the ball-pit balls back into the pit that I missed earlier
"Well Roxane was mostly restored today."
With that sentence alone I almost froze in my actions but tried not to as to no gain suspicion from Freddy
'Ah, I heard she had a accident on the raceway, it's good she is getting repaired quickly'
I swear Freddy heard the nervousness in my voice as he approached closer
"Well, she still remembers everything, so if you would like to speak up that would be great."
I stop throwing the ball-pit balls and look at Freddy.
'Well, uh, I don't..'
I start to mix up my words before looking back down
"Sunrise, please tell me why you didn't let Roxane get the guy."
I couldn't.
Well.
More like wouldn't.
I stare at Freddy again
'He's just..He..'
I tried to find words as Freddy grabbed my arm and held it tightly
'I just couldn't let her..'
I started attempting to pull away from Freddy
"I need more then that, Roxane won't take that for a answer."
I stopped trying and sat down on the floor, Freddy following so he didn't hurt my arm.
'He's the only friend I have Freddy! I just couldn't let her take him away!'
I started to try pulling my arm away again
"Sun, I understand that, but you can't let him hurt Roxane like that! What if he does it again to one of us! Or the children!"
I finally got my arm out of Freddy's grip and continued to yell at him
The fight went on for a while though Freddy ended it simply
"Sun. If you do not tell me where he is, I will tell the security and you will be deactivated!"
Freddy yelled this almost directly in my face and I stopped in my tracks
'You wouldn't..Right? Right Freddy?..'
I started to stress about what could happen if I told him where Moon was and if I didn't, blocking out any noise from outside, from Freddy mostly, a small but loud ringing soon appearing in my sound sensors.
Freddy shook me out of it
"Sun, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry..I'm just angry, please forgive me."
I got up quickly and took off, not wanting to listen to his sorries or small stories of lies.
I went back to my tower being greeted by Moondrop
'Hey what's wrong Sunny-boy?'
I looked up at him and rubbed my eyes
'Freddy told be he would have me deactivated if I didn't tell him where you were..Obviously I didn't.'
Moon stared at me with the most hurt eyes I ever seen
'Why would you do that! I don't need to be here, I should be deactivated instead of you Sun!
Moon started to freak out on me, but he didn't yell even if it seemed like it
'He told me that he didn't mean it though, and I took off..'
Moon continued to stare at me with hurt eyes, mostly because he knows I don't realize the sacrifice I was about to make if Freddy wasn't lying.
'You are a big idiot, you know that?'
Moon hugs me and calms down
'I do know actually..'
I yawn silently before slowly shutting down into rest mode.

Yes I was always happy
but even happy can be sad at times.
