Runaway | Sun and Moon

Part 5

Moon's POV
——
I run over in a panic to Sun, that gator is going to get it!
I pick up Sun and try to get him to wake up
'Hey! Sunny-Boy wake up!'
I finally noticed the gap in his chest and start to run out of the daycare, I don't care if one of the Glamrocks saw!
Sun is the only actual friend I have left, he's not going to leave anytime soon.
I run around, looking for one of the parts and service rooms
There is one on each floor, though I don't know directly where.
I run past Roxane's room, she was fully repaired and staring right at me.
How great.
I continue to run, soon hearing the feet of Roxane close behind
"Hey, Loser! Get back here!"
I ignored Roxane and found the Parts and Service room, taking a quick turn to the right and almost bashing into the door.
I open it quickly and shut it, placing Sun down for a moment to find something to block the door.
I get off the door and Roxane busts the door open, almost breaking it off the hinges.
I turn around and stare at her.
"So you're the Loser we are searching for, and the one who broke me!"
I try to find a way to get Sun but the only way is under the table next to Roxane but she would get me before I made it to the other side.
'Listen, I just need-' I look around again 'I need to get him fixed! Please!'
I sit on my knees basically giving up, there was no way out of this.
I just stare at the floor hoping that Roxane would fix Sun at most.
I shut my eyes as Roxane gets closer

Roxane holds her hand out
"Get up, I'll help you get him fixed."
I stare up at her, quickly taking her hand
'And why are you helping me?'
She looks at Sun
"He's not a bad guy, if he trusts you then so do I, don't mess this up."
I nod and pick up Sun, placing him down on the table in a sitting position.
'I have absolutely no experience in this, do you?'
Roxane scoffs and turns to a panel next to the table and presses something, making the lights dim to the point where  she could see better but not hurt me.

Wait how would she even know that?

Maybe it's just a coincidence.

She selects something else and robotic arms with different devices and tools appear, starting to repair Sun.
'Thanks.'
Roxane just nods and shuts the door, though it bounces off the frame, not shutting due to her almost breaking it.
I laugh at her for a short moment then turn back to Sun who was already half-way repaired.
He's such an idiot.
I sigh and sit in a small chair nearby the table and wait patiently for the machine to finish.
Roxane just watches out the door like a guard dog almost-

Ding

I guess Sun is fixed already.
Roxane turns back to the panel and selects what I assume was a power button, turning Sun online again
'Sunny-Boy! Get up!'
I get him off the table as he starts to rapidly blink
'Woahhh, what happened?'
Sun rubs his eyes and looks up at me
'Moon! you're not hurt, right!?'
He starts to scan over my features
'I should be asking you that, you did get beat up horribly.'
Sun stops scanning over me and gives me a nervous smile
I hug him once more, him returning it quickly.

Roxane gives a fake cough and Sun quickly gets off and turns
He starts to panic and I hold his shoulder
'She's with us, Sun.'
Sun pauses, calming down
'That's good news!'
Sun looks at Roxane and gives her a small smile before turning to me again
Roxane just smiles and starts to continuously shut the door
Sun gives a confused look back at Roxane
'She almost broke the door.'
Sun gives a silenced oh, turning back to me again
'You're going to get dizzy if you keep looking back and forth.'
Sun just gives a soft laugh and hugs me again
I pat his back, soon returning the hug
Roxane stops playing with the door and stares at us
"Get a room, will ya'"
I just give out a choked breath and Sun turns back to her
'Roxane! that is- is-'
Sun starts to shake his arms up and down looking for a word
I just start laughing along with Roxane, us leaving the parts and service with a flustered Sun.
We carefully made it to Roxane's room since the daycare would be a horrible place to stay.
Roxane starts to pull the curtains for her window shut as Sun starts to look around.
'What are we going to do when the place opens again?'
"Well you guys go back and forth between here, the others won't bother you during daytime and evening hours."
I nod and look back at Sun who somehow got over 50 Ball-pit balls in a corner.
Both me and Roxane just stare at him and he throws one at my face.
'Hey!'
I throw it back and he catches it, smiling as always.
I just make myself a small fort out of random things in Roxane's room.
She dims her lights to a decent medium tone and I look at her
'So you do know I'm sensitive to light, how?'
Roxane looks down at me
"You were struggling as you walked until you got into the Parts and Service area, so I put two and two together, along with you are a moon designed animatronic."
I nod at her statement and finish the fort I made with a green blanket, Sun coming over and hiding under the fort with me, giving a soft smile, to me this time.
I smile back as he leans on my shoulder and goes into rest mode.
Roxane smiles at us as I go into a dreamless sleep along with Sun.
