It is the night after Agent 4 and Marie saved Callie from Octavio's clutches. Callie and Marie are performing their new song live to celebrate...
Little do they know... everything is about to change...
Callie: AAAAND THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING!
Marie: W-we'll be ba-
Callie: WE'll BE BACK AFTER INTERMISSION!
Marie, thrown back by this, quietly exits the stage as Callie walks to the center of the crowd's attention.
(Backstage)
The two squid sisters are quickly preparing for the second half of the concert when Marie suddenly stops...
Callie: *groans* What now?
Marie: ...You're really enjoying yourself, huh?
Callie: Well DUH! I'm finally free from that annoying octatarian, I might as well have some fun!
Marie: *smirks* Just remember who saved you from that "annoying octarian"-
Callie: *annoying* Yeah yeah, I already thanked him!
Marie: "him"?
Callie: Agent 4- or was it Agent 5?
Marie gets a bit thrown back by this. Sure Agent 4 DID save Callie, but Marie trained him, and now she's getting no credit.
Marie: *mumbles* It's like I don't exist-
Callie: What was that?
Marie: U-um! I... I think I'm gonna get some air...
Callie: *angered* WHAT?! WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR-
Marie: Just continue without me. You'll be fine...
Callie: Wh-what are you-
Marie: Good luck Callie... I believe in you.
Callie: *confused* Uhhh okay?
(The Alley Behind the Building)
Marie opens the back door to leave, when she suddenly hears a thud, followed by a quiet "Ahh fuck". She quickly closes the door to reveal the mysterious figure.
Marie: I-I am so sorry!-
???: No, no, it's fine. It's just a little blood-
Marie: YOU'RE BLEEDING, WHERE?!
???: *thrown back* Uh... on my forehead- but really, it's fi-
Before they can finish, Marie pats her coat sleeve on the person's head, when she realizes who it is...
Marie: ...Meggy... Spletzer?
Meggy: *shocked* W-wait, are you... Marie the Squid Sister?
Hearing those words left a pain in Marie's heart. She's the only one that knows she quit.
