Full Q:
1- Does dust ever pay his tab with grillby due to collecting gold with his kills or is his tab meaningless to him? Imagine an empty desk with a pile of ash(dead grillby) but to pay respect to grillby and his wishes he paid the tab.

2- Does he occasionally spread the dust of his victims on the things they loved for closure? We know that in monster culture it's very important in the game) So would he do it? Would he pay his tab after killing grillby?

This is very important to me because If he saw this killing as the right thing to do, he'd still have some sort of respect and sentiment for the dead. Just like how he may feel regret for his brother, dies he feel obligated to
lay them to rest in peace? Or does he simply not care about them and they are nothing but
walking corpses to him?

A:
Thank you for the pleasant question. Below is what I think. I mean, it's not official. However, it will be close to the answer.

1. Yes, he does. In addition, he will always pay for taking things from an ownerless store.

2. He used to be, but at some point he wouldn't.
As you say, he thinks of them as nothing more thanliving corpses, but he expresses his condolences and does what he has to do. He's contradictory.
