Reader is 17 and surprises Florence for her birthday

Today is Florence's 26 birthday and I decided I'm going to surprise her
So last night I got on a plane and flew over here and got a hotel for the night. What I was thinking is I'm gonna facetime her when I'm on my way and then once I get to her door I'm gonna turn the camera around to show her where I am and what not
It has been a while since I last seen Florence's because of all the covid stuff and I was surprised that I was able to fly over here but I'm thankful I was able to
I decided to atleast try to look nice today

Anyways right now I was walking to the lobby to wait for the cab to arrive as I rather not stand out in the cold
Once the cab arrived I told him where to go and I grabbed my phone and pulled up Florence's contact pressing the face time button
Almost instantly she answered and brought the speaker part to my mouth
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" I whisper yelled
Of course I've already said happy birthday as soon as i woke up but I wanted to say it again
"Thank youuuu"
"26 you're getting old Pugh" I laugh at the offended look on her face
"Am not"
"Are to"
"That's rude" she laughs
"Wait where are you?" She asked trying to look at my surroundings
"I'm in a car" I say
"Why aren't you driving your car?" She asked
"Uh because I didn't want too.. have you seen outside I don't like driving in the snow" I laugh
"Fair point"
"So what has the birthday girl been up to so far"
"She has been laying on the couch watching movies"
"WHAT" I yell and quickly apologize to the driver
"Why are you laying on the couch? Have you had breakfast or anything to eat?"
"Yes don't worry I got breakfast in bed"
"Ooooo that's nice gotta love waking up to food" I smile
"Yep"
"We're here" the driver said as he pulled up to the house"
"Thank you" I said before paying him
"Where is here?" Flo asked trying to look around again
"I'll tell you in a minute" I say taking off my mask
