marvel oneshots x reader [Requests Closed]

baking gone wrong

It's Thanksgiving and the Reader invited the black widow cast over for turkey she trys to bake and it goes wrong

Reader is 14

Also I may use some of this for my main story but obviously change it up a bit to make sense lol

Florence and the others were going to be here in a half an hour and I still hadn't even started making dessert yet

Last night I had begged mum to let me make the dessert and after 20 minutes she finally caved

Thankfully I bought a couple pre-made pies so all I had to do was put them in the over to warm up and while those were in the over I could get the cookies ready to be put in the oven

We had 2 ovens but one was beeping used for the turkey at the moment so I could only use one at a time

I quickly put the pies in and set the timer for 20 minutes

I know I know cutting it close but it's fine if the dessert isn't done when they first get here its only like 3 right now so it's fine

I got all the ingredients for the cookies out and started mixing them

*little time skip to like 15 minutes*

I had gotten all the cookies ready to be put in the oven and was now waiting

I heard a door knock at the door

"ILL GET IT" I yelled so my mum heard me before booking it and almost falling face first into the person whoever was at the door

"Jeez kid relax we don't need you getting hurt" David laughed as he pulled me into a bone crushing hug

"Haha David....need...air.." I squeezed out

"Oh yeah sorry" he laughed letting go of me

"Happy Thanksgiving" I say smiling

"Hey " I smiled pulling Rachel into a hug

"Hey sweetie I hope it's okay we're a little early"

"Oh yeah no for sure that's fine I just have to go check on the pies I'll be back make yourself at home" I said heading back to the kitchen

"Leave it to you to make dessert last minute" he laughed

"Hey at least I'm making it" I say looking over my shoulder

When I looked back infront of me a wall had magical appeared

I made an 'oof' sound as I walked straight into the wall making the two of them laugh

"That was not funny" I say turning around and pointing at them

"It kinda was" David said laughing

"No one tells Flo or Scar" I say give them a death glare making them gulp

Good to know they can be intimidated by a 14 year old

Anyway back to what I was doing as I entered to kitchen the timer went off so I went to the stove and opened the door

I was this 🤏 close to grabbing it with out the oven glove but thankfully I remember and quickly put them on

After I grabbed the pies out I quickly put the cookies I and went back out to see David and Rachel

Completely forgetting about setting the timer....

Mum can down all down up with makeup and everything...I was In sweats and a t-shirt but eh oh well

Flo and Scar came together and I did the same thing that I did last time

Almost tripping while opening the door

We all gave eachother hugs and what not before going to see the others

We were all talking when I started to smell something funny

I got up to go see what it was and let's just say mum's gonna kill me

I grabbed the fire extinguisher and and quickly read the instructions on how to use it before trying to use it

"AHHHH HOW THE HELL DO YOU USE THIS THING" I screamed causing the others to quickly make their way over here

"Use what?" They asked

They all looked shocked and just stared

"WELL SOMEONE HELP ME BEFORE SOMETHING ELSE CATCHES ON FIRE" I scream still struggling to use the extinguisher

As one of them went to speak I finally got the thing working and sprayed all over the oven before stopping and looking over at them

"Yeah so uh no cookies" I say looking back over and putting out a little flame that survived

I sprayed it a couple more times to make sure it was all out before placing it down on the counter and slowly looking over to mum

"Sorry?" I say with a guilty look

The next thing she did surprised all of us...she LAUGHED making me nervously laugh and look at the others

"Oh don't worry I've done that like 4 times already" she said waving out the smoke

"Oh" was all I said I thought for sire I was getting in trouble

I walked over to the others as mum started cleaning

"I think she's in denial" I whispered

"Yeah" they said as we stare at her before starting to help clean

The rest of the night went smoothly the turkey and the rest of the dinner had survived the little accident thank God so we were all set

After dinner we played some board games

I was drinking pop while the others were drinking 'adult' pop as mum used to say to young me

I was all snuggled up to Flo's side while they all laughed

"Close your eyes little one" she said

"Okay...happy Thanksgiving everyone" I said before closing my eyes snuggling further into Flo's side
