I walked out of Antonio's room to show Abuela the cracks but when we got there the cracks were gone? "What?" I look at the doors to see them perfectly fine. "No,that's- the cracks were there. They were everywhere. The house was in trouble, th- the candle was..Abuela I promise-"

"That's enough," abuela said while she raised her hand signaling for me to stop then she turned around to talk to everyone, "There is nothing wrong with la casa madrigal. The magic is strong! And so are the drinks. Please music. A bailar!"

Luisa then came in while holding the piano so papi could play it. Then everyone went back to dancing.

"If it was all in my head how did I cut my hand? I would never ruin Antonio's night. Is that really what you think?" Mama then replied, "What I think is that today was very hard for you."

"That's not-argh. I was looking out for the family and I might not be Super strong like Luisa or effortlessly perfect like señorita perfecta Isabella who's never even had a bad hair day, but- ugh Whatever." I put my hand out then mama said, " I wish you could see yourself the way I do. You are perfect, just like this. Your just as special as anyone else in this family."

"Mhm. You just healed my hand with arepa con queso." " I healed your hand with my love for my daughter! With wonderful brains, big heart." "stopp." "Cool glasses." "Mama." "Aye te amo cosa linda."

"I know what I saw." Mama sighed and said, "Mira, my brother Bruno lost his way in this family. I don't want the same for you. Get some sleep. You'll feel better tomorrow."

I was on my bed lying down because I couldn't sleep with the memories of the cracks forming all over the house. I get up and peak outside my door to look at the candle. I got on the roof (with the help of la casita) to go to the candle. When I got there I heard footsteps so I put my back against the wall so the person couldn't see me.

I then see Abuela when she says, "Ay, Pedro. I need you. Cracks in our casita. If our family knew how vulnerable we truly are..if our miracle is dying. We cannot lose our home again. *sigh* Why is this happening? Open my eyes. If the answer is here, help me find it. Help me protect our familia. Help me save our miracle." She then kissed her locket then walked away.

" I will save the miracle." I walk in the nursery and start getting ready to save the miracle. As soon as I get ready to open the door I say, "Wait. How do I save a miracle?" La casita raises the tile so it looks like it's saying 'I don't know'. " I figure out what's happening to the miracle. Casita moved seeming like it said 'And how are you going to do that?' " Oh, I have no idea. But there's one person in this family who hears everything about everything. Do if anyone would know what's wrong with the magic it's her."

"Dolores, hey. You know out of all my older cousins you're like my favorite cousin so I feel like I can talk to you about anything, ergo you can talk to me about anything. Like the problem with the magic last night that no one seemed to worry about but maybe you heard about that maybe I should know about."

"Tio Felix then came outside and said, "Camilo stop pretending you're Dolores so you can have seconds. Then Dolores or should I say Camilo turned back into himself and said, "Worth a shot. Ah!" Casita started smacking him away. The real Dolores then said, "The only one worrying about the magic is you and the rats talking in the walls. Oh, and Luisa, I heard her eye twitching all night." She the made her famous squeak then walked away.

I turn around to see Luisa putting the table down. Abuela then said, " Everyone, to the table!Let's go, let's go," Everyone starting sitting down. I rush over to the seat that Luisa was at before Pepa could sit down which caused a cloud to for but tío calmed her down. I whispered 'Luisa'. "Family, we are all thankful Antonio's wonderful new...gift." Antonio then said , "I told them to warm up your seat."

"Thank you, Toñito. I'm sure today we'll find a way to put your blessings to god use." I then started whispering to Luisa, "Luisa, Dolores says you're totally freaking out. Any chance you know something about last night with the magic. *gasps* You do!"

"(Y/n). If you can not pay attention, I will help you." "-oh, actually.." "Casita," casita moved my chair to be next to abuela, "As I was saying we must never take our miracle for granted. So today we will work todos as hard." "Mhm. I will help Luisa." "Stop. First, an announcement. I've spoken to the Guzmáns about Mariano's proposal to Isabela. Dolores, do we have a date?"

"Tonight. He wants five babies." Then flowers start blooming from Isabela's head out of surprise. "Wonderful," abuela says, "Such a fine man with our perfect Isabela will bring a new generation of magical blessings and make both are families stronger," Camilo turns into Mariano and starts making a kissy face at Isabela, but she throws flowers in his face so he changes back and spits out flowers. "Okay. Our community is counting on us. La Familia Madrigal!"

Everyone said it after abuela. "La familia madrigal. Luisa, hey. What?" I look around and can't find her anywhere but then I saw her heading into town and I followed her but then bumped into señorita perfecta. "Oh- sorry." " What is your problem?!"

"Hey! Luisa, hold up!"

"Luisa! Ah! Wait a second! Argh. You gotta tell me about the magic. What's going on? What are you hiding?" "Nothing. Just got a lot of chores, so maybe you should just go home." Then a man said, " Luisa my house is leaning to the-" She pushed it with her foot to get it back in place.

I said, "Dolores said your eye was twitching and it never twitches. Something's making you nervous." "Hey, move. You're going to make me drop a donkey." "Luisa, will you just-argh-Just tell me what it is."

"There's nothing to tell." "You're obviously worried about something. Luisa, if you know what's hurting the magic and it gets worse cause you won't tell me what's wrong-" "NOTHINGS WRONG!" I just stare at her shocked and a tad bit scared until she says, "Wow uh- sorry. That uh that just snuck out there. What I meant was, um-"

While she's panting I walk up to her so I can hug her and say, "I think your carrying way too muuchh." Luisa then picks me up and hugs me but with how strong she is I kinda can't breath.
"Maybe I over due it." "Yep." "Um.. there is something you should know. Last night, when you saw the cracks, I felt...weak " "W-w-wha-what?" A guy then said, " Luisa! The donkeys!"

"On it!" Then I said, "Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean? What do you think's hurting the magic?" "Don't know, but I heard the grownups once. Before tío Bruno left, he had, like some terrible vision about it." "Tío Bruno? What was in his vision?"

"No one knows. They never found it. But if something's wrong with the magic start with Bruno's tower. Find that vision." "Wait! How do you find a vision?What am I even looking for?" "If you find it you'll know. But be careful. That place is off limits for a reason.

Bruno's tower here I come.

I hope this makes up for the short chapter last time. Making big sacrifices to post this last day of Christmas break was basically yesterday on January 3rd but I haven't slept so it feels like the same day it's currently 2:33 am on a school night but I'm wasn't tired so I decided to finish this chapter up because I probably won't post in a while because it being the second semester of highschool there's definitely going to be a lot more work but I don't do anything in one class and I hope it stays the same this semester so I'll work on my books in that class Alrightt on to the next chapter.💕
