Song for the chapter: Grow as we Go— Ben Platt

Before Bianca knew it, the day had rolled around where she and Harry were supposed to meet with Sirius. She was a bit anxious, having only ever spoken with Sirius in person once. That was the night Harry, Ron, and Hermione discovered Sirius's secret.

She remembered Hermione running into her dormitory, she was confused as to how she got in. Hermione told Bianca to just trust her and follow her. So she brought Bianca to one of the towers of the castle. Sirius Black was there speaking with Harry as if they were old friends. Bianca was terrified.

They quickly explained to her that Sirius was not a serial killer or psychopath. He had been framed by someone he considered a friend. Sirius went on to tell Bianca how lucky he was to finally meet her. Harry had told him how she was so different from the rest of their family.

Sirius told Bianca he hoped one day they could be a proper family, but until he cleared his name he had to go into hiding. Of course, Bianca cried like a baby. She felt sorry for Sirius and sad that he had to leave so soon. He hugged Bianca for a long time before Hermione told him he should probably get going.

They exchanged a final goodbye and he told Bianca he loved her. That was the first time those words had ever been spoken to her.

Bianca smiles at the memory before going to the common room to meet Cedric for therapy. Angela had written back to her almost immediately welcoming her back. She reminded me that I had a lot to unpack and it would be a long journey, and she was excited for me to come back.

"You ready to go?" Cedric asks Bianca when she walks over to the couch he was lounging on.

"A bit nervous after my freak out," Bianca admits sheepishly.

"It's okay, I'm sure Dr. Hoffman has dealt with worse in her time as a therapist. Plus you're coming back which just shows how strong you are," Cedric comforts Bianca as they make their way to Dumbledore's office.

"When did you become so wise?" the girl teases bumping into his shoulder lightly.

"Since I entered the tournament," Cedric replies with a slight chuckle. Bianca could hear the fear in his voice though.

"Oh my god I feel so bad, I've been so caught up with my own stuff I forgot to ask how you were doing. I'm sorry Cedric," she apologizes.

"It's really fine Bianca. I've just been trying to study some spells that could work in most situations. It sucks not knowing what the task is," Cedric explains.

"Yeah, I can't even imagine. Tonight after therapy I have to run an errand quick, but then I could help you prepare!" the girl offers.

"I'd really appreciate that Bianca, thank you." Cedric smiles.

They spend the rest of the journey there in comfortable silence. Bianca had grown used to Cedric's quiet tendencies. He wasn't much of a talker, he preferred to observe. Often when they were in the common room together the two would find themselves people watching. The boy had a comforting presence though, Bianca never felt uncomfortable in his silence.

When they get to St. Mungo's the two check-in before parting ways to their appointments. Bianca is hesitant to open the door, still nervous despite Angela's letter. Bianca takes a deep breath before opening the door.

"Bianca! Welcome back!" Angela beams when she sees her. She jumps up and crosses the room to embrace the girl.

"Hey Angela, I'm really sorry about last time," Bianca says once they pull out of their hug. Angela smelled like vanilla which was for some reason comforting to Bianca.
